FilboFox Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I know I already posted my views (Hull, West Brom, Stoke) but I just wanted to express my real wish for Hull to get relegated... there is just something about them... I know they deserve their place because of last year but in my view, they are a rubbish team and playing WAY above their quality... had it not been for a somewhat flukey start to the season, they'd be firmly rooted into one of the drop places... and by the end of the year, barring more lucky wins like the one last week against Blackburn, they'll hopefully be going down too!
JakeShingler Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 I generally base this on who I want to go away to next season.Stoke, Pompey and West Brom. Spot On
StanSP Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 West Brom definitely Middlesbrough Portsmouth/Stoke. Think Blackburn have the quality to pull away at some stage or get crucial wins. Stoke will run out of steam I think. And I just can't tell with Portsmouth. I don't know what there run in is like though to be honest
Joe. Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 West Brom look set for it in my opinion. Who else is tough to call, but I'm praying Stoke go down with them. It'd be hilarious to see Newcastle or Hull go down, but I think 'Boro will take the plunge. So, West Brom, Middlesbrough and Hull for me.
Mikey Posted 8 March 2009 Posted 8 March 2009 Hull Middleborough West Brom Would love it if Newcastle go down but think they will only just stay up. <_<
Darkzzz_ Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Would love to see Spurs go down but that isn't going to happen now. I think WBA, Stoke and Boro. Would like to go and beat Stoke at their place, A trip to Boro would be nice so long as it isn't midweek.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 I want Newcastle to drop. I already don't fancy my chances of getting a ticket for St. James' Park though ( ), 3000 away tickets!! That's crap.
Kilworthfox Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 15 Stoke 28 29 16 Newcastle 28 28 17 Portsmouth 27 28 ------------------------------------------------- 18 Blackburn 27 27 19 Middlesbrough 28 26 20 West Brom 28 22 West Brom definately, Middlesborough need to sort their defence or they are gone, Blackburn will be OK, I think Stoke have a fighting chance also. I think Newcastle will be OK. Portsmouth Middlesborough W.B.A

Fox92 Posted 9 March 2009 Posted 9 March 2009 Portsmouth [at long last], WBA and Middlesbrough. Dont care TBH as long as f~@:ing Stoke go down.
BlabyFox Posted 17 March 2009 Author Posted 17 March 2009 Stoke'Boro WBA Hope Newcastle stay up. Give me one good reason!
Guest Bilo Posted 17 March 2009 Posted 17 March 2009 I got the closest possible run-in! If it finishes like this, we'll have witnessed one hell of an end to the season. With Stoke going down on goal difference. 15 Blackburn -21 38 16 Sunderland -19 3617 Portsmouth -24 36--------------------------18 Stoke -26 3619 Middlesborough -30 3420 West Brom -35 29
Corky Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 Why not? I know, it's amazing, some people don't hate Newcastle United and probably don't actually mind them as a club. Incredible. What are you doing Tills?
Tilley Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 I know, it's amazing, some people don't hate Newcastle United and probably don't actually mind them as a club.Incredible. What are you doing Tills? D'yanar warra mean. I think they are alright & have some pretty half decent players. If they dropped to the Championship, their 'big names' like Martins, Duff etc would be snapped up for next to nothing and if they failed to go up at the first attempt, they could well end up 'doing a Leeds.' Which would be bloody crazy considering the size of the club. Newcastle just need stability on & off the pitch. The sooner they do that, the sooner they can become a mid table Premiership side challenging for the UEFA Cup places, where they belong.
Uncle Albert Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 Hoping Hull, Stoke and WBA all go down. Hull because of the comedy value and Stoke because I want to go to The Britannia next season and WBA are down I think.
Mickey O'Neil Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 It'd be even funnier if Stoke go down on goal difference. That's more galling than just being plain old shit like Derby were.
Joe. Posted 18 March 2009 Posted 18 March 2009 It'd be even funnier if Stoke go down on goal difference. That's more galling than just being plain old shit like Derby were. That'd be beautiful. Hopefully they're done over with a very late goal somewhere else around the country to condemn them to relegation. I've got a feeling the bastards will stay up though.
