Lillehamring Posted 10 May 2009 Author Posted 10 May 2009 Odd Grenland doing well? hope this works - great highlights of a cracking game - peno farce is fun too!
Lillehamring Posted 10 May 2009 Author Posted 10 May 2009 Alta are bottom ha ha - you don't mention that they lost 7-0, and that a 17year old debut boy scored after 39 seconds - oops (mind you, he made a meal of it) http://www.vg.no/sport/fotball/norsk/1-div...hp?artid=552585 - for the goal....
StanSP Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 Cheers for that video Valerenga . Lovely first goal (for OG), and the free-kick was a bit fluky . And the keeper came off his line on the 2nd attempt too
Lillehamring Posted 11 May 2009 Author Posted 11 May 2009 Odda 1 - 6 Viking in the cup they play in the fifth tier http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_in_Norway
Lillehamring Posted 11 May 2009 Author Posted 11 May 2009 Andre Hansen OG not a LSK fan, shen, surely not....
Alexikokopops Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 they play in the fifth tier http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_in_Norway It's still a moral boosting victory  (To be honest all I knew was that they didn't play in the top league I didn't even realise there were five tiers in Norway!)
Lillehamring Posted 11 May 2009 Author Posted 11 May 2009 It's still a moral boosting victory  (To be honest all I knew was that they didn't play in the top league I didn't even realise there were five tiers in Norway!) me neither, but as you can see from that link, there are so many teams and leagues, the level that Odda play at (and verdal, who we beat 6-1) is like playing hinkley or maybe even coalville... i also learnt that, technically, vålerenga are officially the current norwegian champions... The Norwegian Football Cup is a national championship, meaning that while the Norwegian Premier League may be the most prestigious competition to win, it is the winners of the Cup who are awarded the title "Norwegian football champions". This differs from, for example, English football, where the winners of the FA Premier League are the ones who become English champions. The current Norwegian champions and holders of the cup trophy are Vålerenga, who defeated the league champions, Stabæk, 4-1 in the final on Sunday 9 November 2008.
shen Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 not a LSK fan, shen, surely not.... Nope, not a fan of any Norwegian club really. I've got a girlfriend from Oslo who probably roots for Vålerenga, but I've had a keen eye for Brann ever since I visited Bergen years back
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 May 2009 Posted 11 May 2009 at Alexikokopops staining his boxers over an unconvincing win over a 5th tier team.
