Lillehamring Posted 21 May 2009 Author Posted 21 May 2009 Losing against Lilleström - what a shame! Oh well, things can only get better. well they were due at least you didn't have to suffer daylight robbery: 87 4 - 4 77 3 - 4 69 3 - 3 62 2 - 3 56 2 - 2 54 2 - 1 49 1 - 1 34 Lyn - Vålerenga 0 - 1 great for the neutrals, but you could tell at the end that it was definitely 2 points dropped, we looked like we'd lost, they looked like they'd won the champions league... 4 great VIF goals, 4 messy/breakaway goals for lyn, all against the run of play

Fox You Forest Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 How the hell did they play on that?! I've no idea, the pitch looked none too clever before the snow settled.
davieG Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 How the hell did they play on that?! Reminds me of English football in the 60's
haraven Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Just need to clarify there are 2 teams worth following in this world. One, being here is obvious, Leicester City - pride of the UK. The other one is Rosenborg BK, pride of Scandinavia The team in black and white from a city with around 150 000 people in the middle of Norway has managed to get the quarterfinals of the Champions League in 1997, losing out the Juventus there, but before they knocked out AC Milan (/me waves at Silvio Berlusconi) Other fine results from Rosenborg in Champions League include: 1997/1998 Rosenborg - Real Madrid: 2 - 0 1998/1998: Rosenborg- Galatasary: 3-0 1999/2000: Borussia Dortmund - Rosenborg: 0-3 2001/2002: Rosenborg - Celtic: 2-0 2002/2003: Rosenborg - Inter: 2-2 2004/2005: Rosenborg - Arsenal: 1-1 2007/2008: Valencia - Rosenborg: 0-2 2007/2008: Rosenborg - Valencia: 2-0 I could list up a few trashing of muppet clubs Brann and Molde, but I'll save that for another opportunity. So while just throwing out a few matches there, and seeing "Trolla e på topp" on the table where we belong again, I take a bow, and cheer Rosenborg on.

haraven Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 o m g - insult from a VIF-man. When you can beat little Lyn, I will come back and talk to you, Mr 4-4. Born in Trondheim, raised in Trøndelag, worked and studied in Trondheim - then missus wanted to move to Oslo, and here I am ... But that does not change the fact that I am Rosenborg die hard fan.
haraven Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Gloryhunter and Leicester City fan isn't the most known combination either ... but hey, proud to be Blue Army Grit and determination . com -> PL in 2 years
Fox You Forest Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Everytime Lyn are mentioned i just think of Partridge and chuckle to myself.

The match will be aired on Norwegian TV2. Classic Man City forward Uwe Rössler is the manager of Viking. I pray and hope for a proper trashing of him and his side from the mighty Rosenborg.
lildave3 Posted 23 May 2009 Posted 23 May 2009 Pfffft. Alta could beat Rosenborg, they just can't be arsed.
