Tevez Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Is it me or is Jo pound for pound best striker outside the top 4 in the Premiership?
Finnegan Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Santa Cruz. Actually I'd probably take Tuncay over Jo. Thought he was poor when he first signed but he's really come along.
Koke Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Santa Cruz. Actually I'd probably take Tuncay over Jo. Thought he was poor when he first signed but he's really come along. Definitely Santa Cruz. Forgot about him. Jo isn't fit to lace Santa Cruz' laces.
Finnegan Posted 15 March 2009 Posted 15 March 2009 Jo has the coolest fucking image in football. Was loving the prospect of Jo and Faillaini (sp?) playing together. Then that Belgian twat goes and ruins his head. What an utter shaft.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Would have Jermain Defoe or Michael Owen above anyone else mentioned so far.
Finnegan Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Would have Jermain Defoe or Michael Owen above anyone else mentioned so far. Different players to Santa Cruz and both a little bit flawed (attitude and injury.) Though I'm sort of slapping myself in the face for not saying Robbie Keane. I'd take all of these people over Jo, for the record.
AmericanScott Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Jo's first touch is beautiful. I nearly creamed myself when he scored the other day.
brookfox Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Is it me or is Jo pound for pound best striker outside the top 4 in the Premiership? Not sure how someone that cost £19m could possibly be the best "pound for pound" striker!
Tevez Posted 16 March 2009 Author Posted 16 March 2009 Not sure how someone that cost £19m could possibly be the best "pound for pound" striker! Well worth the price tag, only 21, still got about 9 years ahead of him. Will be worth double that in 5 seasons time when Man City will be there, thereabouts for the title.
Uncle Albert Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Jo is shit. He's shit. Snap. What a waste of money he is, garbage. Michael Owen for me is the best striker outside the top four.
dandannieldanok Posted 16 March 2009 Posted 16 March 2009 Robbie Keane is surely one of, if not the best, strikers outside the big four. As for Jo, I think he's alright, but has had too high expectations placed upon him because of the ridiculous price Man City paid.
