demon_dog Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Currently listening to last nights moan in. Surprised no one has yet posted anything about this, is it that bad or am I just a sad b*st*rd? In a Nutshell, we were crap on Saturday, most fans are getting squeaky arses. We do not know how to play without Howard. Why did we not get any loan players in to cover for our strikeforce? Blackpool think DJ is the best striker of all time, he's been brilliant for them. Majority all think that we MUST win on Saturday. Birch says Tunch is doing ok. Carlisle fans looking forward to visiting the crisp bowl. We want to go up as champions, NOT as runners up.
Guest Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Didn't listen last night as I thought it'd be fairly obvious what was said. Normally try to listen though. Good to hear that the Tunch is doing well

Thracian Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Blackpool think DJ is the best striker of all time, he's been brilliant for them. He might have been brilliant for us if we'd ever shown some faith in him and given him regular football. He's got all the pace and elusiveness our strikers are lacking and which we'll need for sure next season. But we've rarely used him. Ridiculous really and especially in our situation. How anyone could seriously believe that Dickov and Hayles were a better investment I really don't know.
Thracian Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 i saw tunch after the colchester game, he was still limpingi tried speaking to him but he was swarmed by fans and doesn't speak great english The word I had is that he may well be out til Christmas. How reliable that is remains to be seen.

Kilworthfox Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Nigel Pearson???? Will Tunch be in the side for Satdi then? What a man
Corky Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 It's bad enough at the best of times, but after Saturday they'd have had a field day.
Dr The Singh Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 It's bad enough at the best of times, but after Saturday they'd have had a field day. Corky, let's just hope your wrong!! If Milwall fail to win tonight and we win on saturday, it will make the world of difference!!!

Thracian Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Maybe Pearson had no choice, maybe DJ said play me, loan me to the Championship or i'm off? And Pearson's problem would have been?
Sir Fynwy Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 And Pearson's problem would have been? His statistics whilst playing for us? Leicester City 2007 - 08 League 17 (11) 4 (17 start, 11 sub appearances and 4 goals) Also 2 starts and 5 sub appearances this campaign for 0 goals

Edmund Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Surprised no one has yet posted anything about this, is it that bad or am I just a sad b*st*rd? To be fair I think most people including myself don't give this show the light of day with the amount of delusional muppets who call in spouting off crap about why we are not in the champions league.

What was the moron thinking?
Muz Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 Ian Holloway. For only another £200,000 or so and we could have had Sylvain Ebanks-Blake!! What was the moron thinking? Ey? Ebanks Blake cost Wolves 1.5m , I dont think Barry quite cost us 1.3m do you? As for DJ , when are people going to realise he does'nt want to play for us anymore? Ever since Allen left he got the arse on and wanted gone then. I can only ever remember me coming away from a match and saying 'DJ had a good game' and that was Cardiff away , and I reckon that was only 'cos Darren Purse had an absoloute mare.
Daggers Posted 31 March 2009 Posted 31 March 2009 While Dickov, Hayles and Chambers have scored how many between them for us this season? Irrelevant. Playing him would have been in place of Fryatt or Howard.

Exactly the points I was going to make, if DJ doesn't want to be here then there is no point in persisting with him. I have no actual evidence he doesn't want to be here, but his half-arsed performances said enough for me on that account. Yes he may be better than Dickov and Hayles, but that doesn't make him our saviour and I certainly wouldn't want him to break up a Howard-Fryatt partnership.
