I honestly don't think he'll ever have much impact at senior level. Unless there's a drastic upturn in his development I can't see him getting more than 18 / 20 odd caps during his career. If that.

We've a very, very young squad - in particular our midfield - who he's always going to be behind. Collison, Ramsey, Edwards and Ledley are all better central midfielders than him and none of them are decades older than him.

Even lads like Owain Tudur Jones are considered ahead of him and I personally think Tudur Jones has been a massive disappointment.

May have been at the behest of Pearson or may just have wanted to give Joe Partington a run out in a game we were obviously going to win.

He's new up from the U19s so it would have been a good opportunity for him. Can't remember the last time I saw King play 90 for the U21s.

Doesn't really to be all that highly rated by Flynn or Tosh to be honest.
