Daggers Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Tried to get a pizza in the Criterion after a match? Don't. It is easier to reconcile the protagonists in the Middle East, get Ultra to apologise and convince Pearson to play Porter.
davieG Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Potholing with a guide in front of me and 10 others behind crawling trough a gap full of water about 10 inches high at ground level and 1/2 mile underground. I was shaking like leaf and scared shitless. Abseiling was pretty nerve racking until I'd completed it.

I was gonna put mine up, but Daggers has already put two of my achievements in the shade. As for Pearson playing Porter - forget it!

Thracian Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 * Interviewing the parents of a teenager killed in the Falklands War - just a few weeks after I'd been welcomed into their home to be told, and to write, how proud he was to be heading for his first overseas posting. * Navigating for a rally driver. It's not the sort of thing you want to get wrong. * Nursing my alsation Sheeka while the vet put her to sleep. We'd lived, worked and played together every day of her long and wonderful life.
lavrentis Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Hmm not sure Either eating too many burgers in a burger eating contest or Biking 12 miles with 2 flat tyres as I left my phone at home
Katy Posted 6 April 2009 Posted 6 April 2009 Telling someone their mother had died and prior to that watching someone die and not being able to do a thing about it. Twice!

welck12 Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Hiking down to the bottom of the grand canyon and back in 4 hours in the middle of the day; after i got to the bottom i realised i only had an hour and a half to get back
cisono Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Visiting my dad, when both of us knew it was the last time we would meet. Dealing with the finality of the situation during the few days we spent together (it's hard to decide/think of all the stuff you should be talking about) and - in a different way - afterwards.
lou Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Be a Mother........... Its thankless, exhausting and a total rollercoaster of emotion but though its the most difficult its also the best thing Ive ever done. I seem to have done ok.

BoneDog Posted 7 April 2009 Posted 7 April 2009 Hardest thing I've done is watch someone burn to death in a car, trying to pull them out but couldn't cos they had a leg trapped under a seat. Not nice to see and hear. Also seeing a friend die in hospital in pain.
