What's the most difficult thing you've ever done?

Tried to get a pizza in the Criterion after a match?

Don't.

It is easier to reconcile the protagonists in the Middle East, get Ultra to apologise and convince Pearson to play Porter.

Potholing with a guide in front of me and 10 others behind crawling trough a gap full of water about 10 inches high at ground level and 1/2 mile underground.

I was shaking like leaf and scared shitless.

Abseiling was pretty nerve racking until I'd completed it.

I was gonna put mine up, but Daggers has already put two of my achievements in the shade.

As for Pearson playing Porter - forget it!

Was this before or after watching The Descent?

Before but then I've never watched it.

* Interviewing the parents of a teenager killed in the Falklands War - just a few weeks after I'd been welcomed into their home to be told, and to write, how proud he was to be heading for his first overseas posting.

* Navigating for a rally driver. It's not the sort of thing you want to get wrong.

* Nursing my alsation Sheeka while the vet put her to sleep. We'd lived, worked and played together every day of her long and wonderful life.

Telling someone their mother had died and prior to that watching someone die and not being able to do a thing about it. Twice!

Visiting my dad, when both of us knew it was the last time we would meet.

Dealing with the finality of the situation during the few days we spent together (it's hard to decide/think of all the stuff you should be talking about) and - in a different way - afterwards.

Try breaking it, I'm sure you'll get takers for things like Kidneys and Liver (if you've look after them  ).

Hardest thing I've done is watch someone burn to death in a car, trying to pull them out but couldn't cos they had a leg trapped under a seat. Not nice to see and hear. Also seeing a friend die in hospital in pain.
