davieG Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 With Bath's colours being blue it looks like they're the home team
Hitesh Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 They better leave the pitch how they found it! We could do with a good pitch for Mondays game!
DB11 Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 They better leave the pitch how they found it! We could do with a good pitch for Mondays game! I'm sure they will
mmarkie Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 Don't worry guys the pitch is still looking great. What a game of rugby though.
Unit Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 same here, was in the kop near the front, the try was right in front of us, fooking hilarious
mmarkie Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 same here, was in the kop near the front, the try was right in front of us, fooking hilarious i was in the west stand right at the top. That Dupuy fight was great.
Unit Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 i was in the west stand right at the top. That Dupuy fight was great. too right! felt weird in the walkers, had a bunch of 'barf' fans next to me, bunch of fooking weirdos. Quite liked sitting in the stand with a pint, very odd.
mmarkie Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 i know feels very weird. The Bath fans near us were the ones making noise when Vesty was taking them penalties and conversions. I LOVE ALEX TUILAGI
lcfc_jme Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 Gen Sport forum? Oh, and big 'mehhhhh' as well. Rugby can **** off from our football ground.
Hitesh Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 Look what they've done to our lovely pitch. Its in the penalty area at the Kop end aswell!! Why couldn't they just play at Welford Road? It's not as if it was sold out and from what I saw the atmosphere wasn't that great!

Unit Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 Gen Sport forum?Oh, and big 'mehhhhh' as well. Rugby can **** off from our football ground. Why? I don't see the problem, a european quarter final victory, not a bad bit of history to be had at our ground. The pitch didn't suffer, what's wrong?
DB11 Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 When you watch rugby on the TV you can here the the referee talking to the players etc. is it the same when you watch it at the stadium? Like, does his mic come over the PA? I've never been to a rugby game before so I'm not sure

When I first went to welford road in about 98 you could buy ref mic's for the whole sesason for a fiver then obviously rugby got too corporate for it's own good.

Like, does his mic come over the PA? I've never been to a rugby game before so I'm not sure They sell ear pieces, although I didn't actually see any fans using them. The picture above is the goalmouth, which already had no grass on it. The pitch looked fine as far as I could see. I went, was quite enjoyable. Not a huge Rugby fan but I know enough, Bath were better side I thought.

The pitch didn't suffer, what's wrong? European Quarter Final victory for a different club playing a different sport at our ground. Not something which captures even the slightest bit of my imagination to be honest with you. As for the pitch, whether or not it has actually suffered will be seen on Monday. My views on the eggies are well documented on this forum. Not my cup of tea, don't like them at our ground, and was again disappointed to see that a few of the Tiggers tops had made it to our away game. Hereford away or Tigers at any ground? Hmmm...
john_lcfc Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 The pitch didn't suffer, what's wrong? So there wont be any trace of weird dotty lines and lines in random places come Monday?
jammo_lcfc Posted 11 April 2009 Posted 11 April 2009 Went to watch this as my boss gave me some tickets in the corperate area. The game was actually very good. The pitch showed no obvious damage to the grass. However i am sure there will be a trace of the lines on monday
Ultra Posted 12 April 2009 Posted 12 April 2009 Some lively banter ensued at the train station when City fans got back from Hereford. Chants of "Eggchasers, you're having a laugh" and "One team in Leicester" rang out. Like we're likely to reach a Euro semi any time soon..
