I'm sure some Championship side will snap him up, and give him a lot more games than he would have had here.

Yeah, he's not a bad player at all, things just seem to fall apart when he's in the side. I can't even put my finger on exactly what it is, but somebody will take a gamble on him for nothing.

he was no worse than macauley, and he did ok :dunno:

He isn't a bad player and will probably turn out to be a good signing for (probably) a Championship club.

But with our current crop of defenders, I would put him at 5th choice centre back so he's gotta go for his own sake as much as anyone elses.

Him and McAuley were the main reason we went down with the second best defence in the Championship.

I for one, will be sad to see kisnorbo leave.

We didn`t get relegated last season because of kisnorbo, as has been pointed out, we had the second best defence in the division.

We went down because we didnt score enough goals, and yet i don`t see too many people wishing fryatt and howard away from the club next season, when they were two of the strikers that didnt score enough goals to keep us up last season.

Also, in regards to kisnorbo this season, when he first came back from his bad injury, it coincided with gilbert being out injured and hobbs playing at right back, and that had far more impact on our defence, at the time, than kisnorbo being back.

Hobbs is a decent centre back, but he aint no full back, and fair play to pearson, he recognised this and brought in edworthy, as a stop gap.

Alot has been made of kisnorbos distribution, or the big hoof up field, but hobbs and morrison have been guilty of that too, on occasions, but dont seem to have been criticised.

We played the ball out of defence more when tunchev was playing, cos hes comfortable on the ball, and just oozes class!

Funnily enough, if kisnorbo had been fit at the end of last season, he would probably have been sold for a decent fee, there had been interest from a number of clubs, such as fulham and birmingham, if you remember, and then i expect we would have had people moaning that he had jumped ship, funny how things can change in a few months!

I thank kisnorbo for his efforts at our club, and its a pity we didnt have more players of his quality and commitment here last season, we wouldnt have gone down!

Paddy kisnorbo, i wish you well mate, BUT not in any games your playing against us.

Good luck to them. I hope he does well.

1 - His hoofing ruins our play.

2 - Poor positioning, hence why he always has to sprint back and make a sliding challenge.

I got the ground early yesterday just as the players were arriving and got to speak to a few while they were doing signings (most of the stuff you probably already know)...

Kisnorbo I actually spoke to quite a bit later as he went back to his car and managed to grab hold of him to sign my programme, I asked him if he was playing he said with an annoyed tone: "No" and I asked him if he will be here next season and in a more pissed off tone: "NO". I wasn't fussed about him not being here to be honest. I then asked if he was going back to Australia or staying here and he said he was looking to stay here but he wasn't sure yet!

I spoke to Clemence and asked how his injury was and he said its all fine now and will be playing here next season.

Astrit came to the ground in a taxi whilst the other players came in their flash cars! lol

Jack Hobbs said "you'll here soon" when asked about his transfer.

David Martin said he wasn't sure where he will be next season (hope still maybe?!)

Howard was funny as was Powell who answered when asked about if he will still be playing into his 40's with "I'll be playing until I'm 60!".

Paul Dickov said he will be here next season.

Also met Brown, Lord Dyer, Michael Morrison, Bruno and Edworthy. I will upload pictures and videos when I can that I have of the programme, players and from the game!

We signed Jack Hobbs Friday 10 o'clock by 11 o'clock Kisnorbo was told by NP he "was not good enough" and to find another club. Kisnorbo will stay in England if he can get an offer.

That can be said for Hobbs, Brown and Morrison though too. Either way it's not really worth arguing about. He's practically 5th choice centre back now and his exit is inevitable.

I managed to speak to Paul Henderson before the game, he walked around the pitch with, I'm assuming his daughter (cute little thing!).

He was willing to sign autographs and have his picture taken with the fans (got a great one with him and my son).

I asked him whether anything was sorted for next season. He looked a little embarassed/shy but said that he was still unsure where he would be.

He also seemed a little distant from the reat of the team during the parade lap.

Paul Henderson is 100% going back to Oz. I spoke with his wife. He has not got a club there yet.

When Martin got injured he was only supposed to be out for a couple of weeks, but hasn't played since. He hasn't been mentioned by Knowitall about being signed. I wonder if his injury is more serious than we were first told.

David Martin, this is correct it was only meant to be for a couple of week. Yet he is still injured. He is being told to rest and has checks every week. Leicester are not interested while he is injured.

Hobbs actually signed on Wednesday.

Leeds are interested in Kisnorbo. The biggest thing Kisnorbo respects about this club, are the supporters.

You seem to know quite abit of info Bert, if you don't mind who is your source, obviously don't name names if you don't want to, but a player? coach? someone who works for the club (<--- Well they obviously work for the club but at the stadium for example)?

Doesn't matter if you don't wanna say just interested, doesn't really matter anyway! lol

And i'd like to say thank-you to Kisnorbo for respecting us, i'll be sad to see him go but I think it is his time is up, unfortunatly - If it wasn't due to his injury's (None of his fault of course) have let other player be bought in impressed and forced any chances of Kisnorbo getting a place back.

wasn't there a delay at liverpool tho? i'm guessin knowitalls point is that NP was just waiting for it to be signed, sealed and delivered before showing him the door, which kinda suggests that he was never really wanting to keep kis, but was prepared to if he couldn't get hobbs

Would rather not say.

Next season if Kisnorbo signed, we'd have 5 centre backs (Hobbs, Brown, Morrison and Tunchev too). Who is the only one that's not a Nigel Pearson signing?

Knowitall was referring to the receipt of the papers confirming the signing rather than the actual signing itself, these were received from Liverpool on Friday :)

Fair enough.

Yeah I think over the summer barring a few players that we will have had from last season Pearson will really put his stamp on the team.

Don't argue with KNOWITALL!

Yeah I know.

Just thought I'd let everyone know though, as Knowitall did confirm later on that day, that the Hobbs deal would be permanent.

I'm not arguing with Knowitall. As you probably don't know, I "knowalot" too.

He's more removed from the club than Bert.

I just don't divulge the information as much as Knowitall, which would be why Knowitall's better.
