Hitesh Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I got the ground early yesterday just as the players were arriving and got to speak to a few while they were doing signings (most of the stuff you probably already know)... Kisnorbo I actually spoke to quite a bit later as he went back to his car and managed to grab hold of him to sign my programme, I asked him if he was playing he said with an annoyed tone: "No" and I asked him if he will be here next season and in a more pissed off tone: "NO". I wasn't fussed about him not being here to be honest. I then asked if he was going back to Australia or staying here and he said he was looking to stay here but he wasn't sure yet! I spoke to Clemence and asked how his injury was and he said its all fine now and will be playing here next season. Astrit came to the ground in a taxi whilst the other players came in their flash cars! Jack Hobbs said "you'll here soon" when asked about his transfer. David Martin said he wasn't sure where he will be next season (hope still maybe?!) Howard was funny as was Powell who answered when asked about if he will still be playing into his 40's with "I'll be playing until I'm 60!". Paul Dickov said he will be here next season. Also met Brown, Lord Dyer, Michael Morrison, Bruno and Edworthy. I will upload pictures and videos when I can that I have of the programme, players and from the game!

Does the mean he is leaving?! :w00t:
Hitesh Posted 25 April 2009 Author Posted 25 April 2009 YES!Does the mean he is leaving?! :w00t: I thought exactly the same when he said he was! It wouldn't be unlike him if he did...
Munzie Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I managed to speak to Paul Henderson before the game, he walked around the pitch with, I'm assuming his daughter (cute little thing!). He was willing to sign autographs and have his picture taken with the fans (got a great one with him and my son). I asked him whether anything was sorted for next season. He looked a little embarassed/shy but said that he was still unsure where he would be. He also seemed a little distant from the reat of the team during the parade lap.
Webbo Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 David Martin said he wasn't sure where he will be next season (hope still maybe?!) When Martin got injured he was only supposed to be out for a couple of weeks, but hasn't played since. He hasn't been mentioned by Knowitall about being signed. I wonder if his injury is more serious than we were first told.
Salieri Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I'm more than happy with our 4 centre backs in Hobbs, Tunch, Morrison and Brown so Kisnorbo.
Ozwin Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Kisnorbo reminds me too much of bad times, yeah he was the best of a bad bunch last season but I just don't feel confident with him there. Thanks a lot for everything but I think it's time to move on
Tilley Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 YES!Does the mean he is leaving?! :w00t: We can hope, Matt.
lcfc_jme Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Could tell watching Kisnorbo on the lap of the pitch last night that he's resigned to leaving. He looked dejected and broken. Bless him. Bad news on the Dickov front, but LOVING Chrissy P. The man is a hero.
maddog Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 YES! Does the mean he is leaving?! Best post i've seen this year Fantastic use of the emoticons. (Ive had to delete some because too many ) :w00t:
Basingstoke Fox Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Am I the only person who thinks that losing Kisnorbo would be a loss for us?
lou Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Am I the only person who thinks that losing Kisnorbo would be a loss for us? Ive got mixed emotions......... this time last season if someone had said we were losing him everyone would have been gutted. Now it seems we have a decent defense and have basically managed fine without him. Id have liked him to have a full pre season and given a couple of months next season to see if he can get back to his best? Seems the club has other ideas
Thracian Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 Clemence will be a good back up midfielder. If Kingy doesn't get pushed out by the weight of Clemence's wages. Or is that me being cynical?

He also seemed a little distant from the reat of the team during the parade lap. Yeah it was his daughter - She was the mascot aswell, really nice watching the players with their kids and familys after the game and the kids all playing together, Fryatt and Oakley spinning round with their kids respectively, Fryatt throwing his daughter in the air, Powell's lad's chasing after him, Kisnorbo playing with Hendo's daughter carrying her through the air as if she was flying! Hendo and Kisnorbo both seemed distant from the rest of the team, Kisnorbo even more so than Hendo, will be shame to see both go but we move on.

ousefox Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I also noticed Kisnorbo. Didn't really seemed bothered at all. I was looking forward to seeing him come back for us as i have always rated him but it does not like he will be able to get back in the team next season, even as back up.
Saladin Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I just walked past Morrison outside the sainsburys near dmu uni, was there with his mates, had a bottle of bear on him too.. His mates looked about 16 , think they were going sainsburys for more booze..
lou Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I dont actually feel sorry for him though......... hes not exactly gonna be signing on the dole is he? Where ever he ends up he'll be earning a damn sight more than any of us!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I think it has got to the point now that if Kisnorbo does stay he will be lucky to be a squad player with tunch, hobbs, brown and morrison.
Ultra Posted 25 April 2009 Posted 25 April 2009 I'm sure some Championship side will snap him up, and give him a lot more games than he would have had here.
