Non-Match Match Thread aka I Don't know what to do on a Saturday at 3PM anymore Thread

Haha, fair comment. I'm fairly savvy when it comes to the ol' tinternet, but when it comes to things like torrents and live streaming, I've never really bothered investigating, so I don't know so much about it.

But, live streaming matches is great! Just the other day I was saying to someone how someone should invent a website channel that shows live matches - so on the plus side, at least I don't have to invent it now - but on the downside, I won't be becoming a millionaire for said invention!

If you have any other sites that do footy streaming, please let me have them. Do they show Leicester matches often? Can't always go to many aways.

You do realise it's illegal right?! - altho there is some debate about how illegal it is but thats for another thread!

But yeah, it is good that we can watch 3PM Kick off Premier League games!

Not many Leicester game though apart from those on Sky and from next season, on BBC. Just have to wait until we are in the promise land I guess!

I think once the play offs and the Prem are all done and dusted it will kick in. I miss physically going to games already, although I have a couple penciled in before the end of the season proper. It will be pre season before we know it anyway.

Yesterday felt odd without going to a match- first Saturday in ages.

Was pleased with not having to get up very early and no long-distance travelling though.

Yeah but technically watching a movie on YouTube is illegal! The guy who is streaming it is more illegal than the one watching! And, if they created a legitimate way of watching footy streams, say for a reasonable monthly free, who wouldnt do it?

exactly, or if they did something like a quid for a game online... they'd get a shit ton of people doing it

Exactly. It's always Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal on TV, why not stream smaller teams? They wouldn't evn have to do fancy commentary of analysis, just a straight stream of the game - it wouldn't cost a lot. If it was £2 a game, I'd go for it.

At least we had some football to watch last year, this year. Nowt.

Yeah, Although England weren't involved I quite enjoyed the European Championships, I think I enjoyed it more than if England were involved, not hype just to be disappointed by. :giggle:

World Cup next year

Yep saw the ad for the U21's on Sky this morning. Mattock should be involved right?

Did Wales U21 get through?

I'm looking forward to the Twenty20 matches more than the Ashes to be honest.

That's all well and good if you've got sky tv. <_<

Go to the pub :P

Another excuse to drink
