kidder_wolf Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 It shows how well Wolves have been run by Jez Moxey over the last few years looking at that list of clubs. Although we had a bad 18 months under Glenn Hoddle. 6 years ago Charlton were stuffing Wolves 4-0 at half time in the Premier League. How times have changed in such a short space of time. I think Norwich will win the league Leeds 2nd and MK Dons to beat Charton in the play offs
Ultra Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 Leeds were the strongest side in the division from the time Grayson took over. Once he's had the chance to bring his own players in, they'll be unstoppable. Franchise, Norwich and possibly Huddersfield will battle it out for second place.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 You can guess who my vote's for. Anywho I would guess that there will be a couple of the surprise package teams next season. I reckon that Leyton Orient and Carlisle will push on much better, the past couple of seasons (excluding this one of course) they've been up there. With Norwich and Charlton it'll depend much on their transfers, we'll see how they do after a couple of games and make a judgement from there, they could do a forest/leeds or pull it out of the bag like you did. Southampton are probably much more likely to be a decent side at that level, however the points deduction pretty much rules them out of the race. Mid-table teams from this season with a high amount of financial backing will make a push on the play offs wheras the less wealthy ones could be in for a bit of a struggle. The teams that started well this season but fell away towards the end will most likely have a dull mid table season but could pull out decent cup runs. My guesses are 1 - MK Dons 2 - Charlton Play offs - Bristol Rovers
Unabomber Posted 31 May 2009 Posted 31 May 2009 I reckon Charlton. Especially if they can hang on to Shelvey and Bailey. A nice stadium and large-ish fan base. They have more quality IMO than Norwich and Southampton even though they had such a bad season.I also believe that Tranmere will be the surprise package next year. Won't be that much of a suprise considering they so narrowly missed out on the play offs last season. Oh and I think Leeds will win it with ease.
Lovejoy Posted 1 June 2009 Posted 1 June 2009 MK won't win it, they've got no players left. I'm going for Hudders .

No players left you cheeky bastard We've let 7 go and still have pretty much all of our regular players, I expect we are increasing strength in depth and bringing in a few replacements. Everyone is going skitz over Llera going but they forget that the best defender the team has ever had in Danny Swailes will definately be back for next season ( I hope he is still as good as he was though ). I can see us signing a few people over the summer aswell as getting some loans.
