Craig Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 edit:no bumble tho! Better than listening to him jizzing over England losing again though?
MarkDeVries Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 4 from 7, all over, pretty much. Good effort anyway.
dave_the_fox Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 THE LINKS WORKING AGAINhttp://www.live-cricket.tv/watch/Cricket/1...st_Indies/flash How i wish it wasnt tho <_<
Fox You Forest Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Always going to be difficult, put a great effort in though.
Fosse Boy Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 The batsmen failed again. Sure, the bowling wasn't great (or particularly intelligent in the last couple of overs), and I'm sure as usual they'll probably get blamed, but we set no sort of target really, given the supposed quality of our top five.
purpleronnie Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Not only do we go out my possible 28-1 (west indies to get to final - see before tournament started posts) bet gets closer, which would of been great if I had bet it. I just hope they lose in the semi.
Corky Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 I'm disappointed. Pietersen played a poor shot, if he'd stayed in for another few overs we could have demoralised them, but he was careless. Sarwan batted sensibly, and well done West Indies.
Milky Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Full credit to England. Defending that looked almost impossible and they nearly made it.

Fox You Forest Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Picking out Pietersen when everyone around him contributed nothing is a joke. (Bopara excluded of course)
Milky Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 I think we would've won it over 20 overs. Annoying way to go.
Corky Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 Picking out Pietersen when everyone around him contributed nothing is a joke. (Bopara excluded of course) Maybe, but he is a quality player, was well set, could've knocked a single or two off that ball and carried on. I'm not convinced about Rashid at 20/20 cricket. One plus point however is James Foster's keeping
Brainy Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 I only feel safe when Bopara and Pietersen are in. Luke Wright is damn right annoying.

One plus point however is James Foster's keeping The way he's reacted to situations when under pressure shows the quality of the lad. Yes he got hit for a six early on but for 20 yr old to react like that was fantastic. He'll learn of Swann and Mushy and lead England's spin attack in all forms of the game in a few years.

Milky Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 West Indies and Pakistan in the semi. What a joke. If there's any justice we'll see South Africa V Sri Lanka.

I think he could be a real asset in the Test format, and possibly the 50 overs version, but I'm not sure about 20/20. Time will tell though.
Tommeh Posted 15 June 2009 Posted 15 June 2009 My only opinion related to Cricket is that Stuart Broad is a tit.
