What are these Christian values your so scared of losing???

Britain hasnt been "Christian" for many years and that's not down to immigration or the Muslims it's down to us and our changing values.

We accept and adopted rights to abortions

We accept and adopted the advancement of science and stem cell research etc.

We accept the right of same sex couples

We accept relations outside wed-lock

We accept binge drinking.

ETC

These, alongside many other principles are all rejected by any church yet they're all accepted in British society, so what are you so scared of losing???

Thats just the problem, the above has all become accepted. We're a country that has been completely misguided and have disregarded the morals and values that made this country great. Admited I'm sure the majority of Muslims hold those values as well. I don't think any of the above has anything to do with immigreation.

I'm scared of losing the history and identity of this country. The message of the new testiment is of one of love and peace. I don't think the same can be said for the Quran.

When you hear of parents or grandparents speak of a time when you could go out and wouldn't have to look your door. When neighbours were friends and where Police were a genuine help to the community. This was a time when People of this country regularly attending church. I'm sure most of your parents probably attended sunday school as kids. That was possitive effect of Christianity on this country.

In this modern political correct world where we have abandoned those values look at the state we are in!

Any way back to the point. Read my previous post in reply to why I thing Islam is a religion of hate, it stems right back to their very begining.

As opposed to a magic one implanted in his virgin mother's womb that could turn water to wine and rise from the dead?? lol:doh:

Oh and Lazareth, don't forget about him. Didn't you know he made the lame walk as well :)

Anyway this has nothing to do with my faith, the point I'm trying to make is that I want what is best for Britian. Preserving our history and what has made us great. I consider Islam a serious threat, we need to protect our country and from stopping it becoming islamified we will be doin that.

They shouldn't have left you in charge of history and identity then. You better not lose it.

The message of the new testiment is of one of love and peace.

Cheers buddy saves me having to read all those pages.

:giggle:

Seriously though are you trying to blame the mistrust of society solely on Islam?

I mean people have to lock there doors now because of Islam?

People won't attend church because of Islam?

The police aren't a "geniune help anymore" because of Islam?

Take a break mate.

Re-read mate. I was highlighting the state of Britain today, to which I believe is a knock on effect on the relaxation of Christian morals.

Admited I'm sure the majority of Muslims hold those values as well. I don't think any of the above has anything to do with immigreation.

Well not according to this statement.

Just not very keen on a religion that traces its ancestory to an iligitimate child that Abraham didn't want.

As well as a gypsy prophet that was a murderer, a thief and a paedophile with up to 13 marraiges

As opposed to Jesus the homosexual paedophile (by modern standards)?

I'm quite sure there are passages in both the Gospels according to Mark and John that allude to Christ's sexuality being "unconventional." In Mark, Jesus taught a male "youth" who came to him at night wearing nought but a linen cloth "over his naked body" and "remained with him that night."

:dunno:

As 'recently' as medieval times girls were commonly married off the second they hit sexual maturity, branding Islam's prophet a pedo by twentyfirst century definitions is just stupid and exactly the sort of bigoted, ignorant hate we'd expect from a moron like you. There are lads on here like Super City I feel genuinely sorry for. You're just a vile little boy who should, by now, know better.

I really can't be bothered to explain myself, can't you follow simple text?

I consider Islam being a serious threat..... ie Present/future tense

Knock on effect of the relaxation of Christian morals ..... ie Past tense.

Is that clear? 2 completely irrelivant subjects!

As soon as you brought religion into it... bah

I would consider Teeno as more of a threat than the majority of Muslims who live their lives in peace in this country.

Isn't it ironic that you talk of threats when really the most threatening and divisive language is coming from you? Some people on here know you and say you're a good bloke, well it's just a shame that a seemingly good bloke holds disgusting, racist, homophobic views then.

You should be ashamed of the shit you come out with.

Don't be fooled, Islam is a religion of hate. The majority of Muslims have no respect for this nation, our traditions, way of life and our traditional christian values.

Teeno, mate, seriously. Do you know any muslims? I have muslim friends, and they are just as appalled by the extremists as the rest of us. They are representative of the majority, the extremists are very much the minority. Just as a minority of terrorists hide behind two different forms of christianity to blow up pubs in Birmingham, or people attending a remembrance service or just out shopping on a Saturday afternoon in Omagh.

Just not very keen on a religion that traces its ancestory to an iligitimate child that Abraham didn't want.

Islam and Christianity are more closely linked than you think. They have the same origins, worship the same god, and share the same characters in their religious texts. Ok, the stories may differ, but it would when two groups split off like that. However the similarities are more numerous than the differences.

Can we make one thing clear here. Old people talking about how they used to be able to go out without locking the door is not the basis for sweeping statements about how good things used to be. Guess what? 1 in 10 babies used to die before antibiotics and vaccinations. Ah the good old days.

How about we ask those abused under the care of the Catholic Church what they think of good christian values and trust in the good of the church?

(Before I carry on, I won't be voting BNP

Shame we never stop recruiting people and tightened out immigration laws in the country when we had what we wanted and realised we were too full, e.t.c, again i'm bleeting on about Australia again but they take no shit, They had a 'critical list' of trades needed, e.t.c, for example Carpentry/Joinery, I am led to believe Carpentry/Joinery is now over populated so they have took it off the 'critical list' and anyone who trys to apply through those means for that job is on a waiting list or have to be something special to be let in, someone I know has apply to emigrate over there with the trade of Carpenter/Joiner, and his rent was running out but the landlord said I want a you to sign a years contract or your out, so this bloke contacted whomever to do with his emigration and their reply was basically "Look if you pressure us, We don't want you, let it take it's cause and we will contact you when we want you".

We did need to people, we did need to open out culture, but we never close our open arms, even now we are welcoming people into the country...

Matt, the issue is two fold, one, when times were good, alot of industry lacked labour, the types of jobs that natives and previous immigrants didn't want to do. The company I work for before the influx of eastern europeans struggled to fullfill there vacancies. Second is skilled labour, this no matter what the circumstances, recession or no recession the nation cannot do without, this includes doctors, nurses, engineers, IT professionals, and if the likes of BNP stopped this kind of immigration or were seen to treat them as second class citizens, this country would be a mess, go to your local hospital and see for yourself, I bet you will see a large propertion of non natives!!!

There's a distinct difference between controlled immigration and stopping immigration!! unfortunately I beleive labour has failed to do either. but the BNP, haven't a clue, this country would be in ruins!!

I would just like to appologise to anyone I may have offended. I hold strong views and opinions that I understand a lot of people may not agree with.

The views I hold are based upon information, research and a faith of mine. In no way do I ever intend to hurt or offend. I might get a bit heated but none of my views are made on hatred or racism.

I'm sure most people on this forum that have meet me can testify that I am a genuine nice person, who has a lot of time for everyone and makes friends with people of any race, sex, age or religion.

I do not agree with mass deportation of British born ethnic minorities or to those who have came here legally, played by the rules and pay into the system.

I have a genuine concern with the rise of Islam, and the continued mass immigration despite the record highs of unemployment. I am completely against racism, and the Nazi qualities I know some BNP supports have. I have been to a concerntration camp in Munich as well as the Jewish Memorial to the Holocaust in Israel and would never ever want to see that happen in this country.

The increased support the BNP are likely to receive this week I hope will be a wake up to the big 3, who I felt I couldn't vote for with all that is going on and the Pro European stance. In an ideal situation they will take note of the concerns of a lot of voters like myself and come the next general election I will be happy to vote Conservative.

Sorry again to anyone I may have offended.

Matt

That took a lot of guts, and the selected quote is true. :)

While I agree with Lisa, yeah fair play it takes a brass pair to stick your neck out like that, I'm far less forgiving. I'm sorry but we shouldn't sit around and tolerate horrid, ignorant, uninformed, bigotted views just because the person speaking them is mild-mannered in real life.

Hitler was a Jewish vegetarian that loved his family - it doesn't mean he didn't have horrific views that were severely damaging the world over.

The worst bit of all was:

"The views I hold are based upon information, research"

Bollocks, are they! They're based on MISinformation, manipulation and your own ignorance!

Teeno, you should research the age old concept of Humanism mate, when you can judge each individual on his or her own merit you will learn that it is wrong to make blanket statements like you have on here. The older generations in my family cannot cope with change either, it doesn't mean you can't make up your own mind and stay quiet about how you feel. We are all people, I'm a person, you're a person...

Don't agree with you there. Islam gets bad press because of fundamentalist psychos that have regressive views and bomb shit, similar to the good loving "New Testament" folk who crusaded through the Muslim world to take back Jerusalem and jailed scientists for speaking the truth. The exception rather than the rule, they're just a few hundred years behind us.

It was probably the same time that husbands beat their wives, and the wives had nowhere to go so just shutup and didn't talk about it. Or the time when parents abused their kids and they had nowhere to go either, because that was family life and the state shouldn't intervene. Or the time when disregard of human life was encouraged through general acceptance of the death penalty for even minor transgressions. Or the time when people died in the shithouse working conditions of Victorian England. But I suppose all that was ok because people had good manners around the dinner table.

Some traditional ideas will be lost in the persuit of progression. Those losses will be lamented by some, but under progressive law you have the choice to participate or not participate in traditionalism. I for one think abortion is abhorrent. But that doesn't mean that the law shouldn't provide for individual freedoms in that regard.

Any way back to the point. Read my previous post in reply to why I thing Islam is a religion of hate, it stems right back to their very begining.

Being from the same root as Judeo-Christianity?

City defender Chris Powell has joined a series of other sports and entertainment stars in backing the Hope not Hate campaign.

He urges voters to spurn the British National party in today's's European and local elections.

In a letter published in the Guardian, signed by Prime Minister Gordon Brown and stars from the world of entertainment and sport, Powell says that voting for the BNP "is a vote against everything that makes this country great".

I'm proud that Powell has signed the letter in the name of his employers (and presumably with their backing) rather than in his capacity as chairman of the PFA.

I trust that City fans will heed his call. Whatever issues you may have with the political system, or the European Union, a vote for the BNP is not the answer.

Burying your head in the sand and abstaining, or spoiling your ballot paper, are not feasible options either.

This weekend we will commemorate the sacrifices made by thousands of soldiers from various nationalities during the D-Day landings.

The best way of celebrating their efforts is by standing up for democracy, and denying the heirs of Hitler the right to speak for us at European or local level.

DON'T VOTE BNP!

Text of letter in full:

What the Grauniad didn't reveal is that thousands of people, from various parties and backgrounds, have also signed this letter.

So can you..

I like Chris but this is a fooking stupid thing to say.
