Oakley and Wellens are quite similar players, at least King would offer somekind of cover to the defence. There is no way King will play before Oakley. King is not yet ready to be a constant member of a team good enough for promotion. He might make the bench on a fairly regular basis. If Clemence is fit, he will play before King as well, but he would need to prove his fitness first. When Davies was with us last year, it wasn't just him being a talented central midfield player that provided our beat football of the season, it was also using the freedom of playing Oakley wide on the right that gave the whole team impetous and control!

He put IF because no body is 100% sure untill everything is confirmed, by the sounds of it, Babylon is just a messanger and only hears stuff from he's mates. Anything could crop up in a medical! Sit tight and see!

dandannieldanok Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Never seen him play but from reports and what others say he's exactly what we need, a strong, imposing central midfielder with real quality on the ball. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be another Clemence, hype when signed followed by disappointing reality.

No, because I looked back through some of your past postings and they were nonsense. He did have a medical today, so if he passed the chances are it would be announced at 10 am tomorrow, because that's when it's usually done, anyone could have guessed that. It smacks of someone trying to make out they are in the know.
