Good old pep guardiola, in jeans and a tracky top... as marcus from big bro would say "cool as fook"

Barcelona fielding a young side tonight, some absolute gems in there to keep a look out for though.

I now have more of a hatred towards Spurs and Barca fans now, taking over the tube and not moving to let people on or off the train <_<

I am disturbed by what I am reading here and on other threads. There are far too many posters claiming to be fans of 'Arkan's Heroes' flouncing off at the drop of a condom to watch 'Glory Boys' in nakedly commercial tournaments.

Of course, when it comes to doing their duty on a 'wet Wednesday in Watford' these 'Leicester till I die(hards)' will claim penury.

We have a similar problem with some of the rank and file in Novi Sad. Occasionally, a comprehensive sweep of the local railway station on matchday by Voj Ultras nets a few of the traitors on their way to Partizan or Red Star.

Our stalwarts have found that the tradional therapy for glory seeking - the head of the sufferer immersed in warm salty urine for approximately ten seconds - remains the best antidote to this depressing condition.

You are a prize fucking mongoloid. Honestly, you must have been exposed to an obscene amount of radiation at some stage in your life and it has rendered you mentally retarded.

So fucking what if people wish to go and visit a new ground during pre-season? Who gives a shit if it's a commercial tournament? It's fucking PRE-season you cretin.

Nobody will go to Watford on a Wednesday, wet or dry, 'cos we play mainly on Saturdays, but some Tuesdays.

I don't give two shits what "ultras" do in your supposed homeland.

I am one of the fans of 'Arkan's heroes' running off to one of these commercial tournaments, but if you doubt my commitment to LCFC or stupid away trips during the middle of the week, then you're a bigger arsehole than I thought. Not many people would go to Southampton on a cold Tuesday night on crutches and get thrown out for what they believe in without 10 minutes of the game passing by and still go back for more games.

Why don't you just log back on as Chandler and go back to solving National mysteries instead of venting at English football. It was much more bearable. I mean, I despise the FA and the state of English football, but you even bore me.

Well said sir. :)

Major shout out to you, also one of these commercial tournament attendees, for coming to Yeovil away on a Monday night straight after school without going home first even though it was on Sky. Extremely commendable effort, sir. :appl::thumbup:

Not a great match so far but its only a friendly. I didn't see Tevez or Robinho :dunno:

Is that the same Etuhu we had on loan from Man City a couple of years back. If so surprised he is still there. Must having something about him because from what I remember he was average at best.

It is. To describe his performances for us as "average" is flattering in the extreme.

It's amazing to think he could be a contender to play in the same team as all the galacticos.

Decent game barca v al ahly.

Some of the barca kids look class.

Future stars.

Second half 11 changes for barca... messi makes his first appearance of pre season :)

3-1 as it stands.

Tottenham look awful, perhaps the second half changes will help them.

Nice to see mowbary doing well so far up in scotland.

Btw Paddy Mccourt just as good as on FM :P

I see Celtic won the cup. How come each team doesn't play each other? Seems a little silly.

Because it's simply not workable to hold a tournament over 5 days,

All the prestigious pre-season tournaments (Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Emirates) run that system and you get additional points for scoring goals thus the emphasis should be on scoring.

Do it them FM way and play it over 3 days :P Game each day.

They should just make it knockout then. Can't really see why 5 days is a chore :dunno:

I know its only pre season but why hold a cup if its not run like one.

Spurs need at least one more centre-back before the season starts.

Based on their performance against Celtic's reserves today (the first team were rested for Wednesday's crucial Champions League qualifier), it looks like being yet another "nearly" season for them..

I remember when the Amsterdam Tournament used to be half important.

Now it has Sunderland taking part.

Who else is competing this year?
