The first being the proper club that was Wimbledon and the second being relegated due to no fault of their own, both with proper fans. Incidently come August 8th both these clubs play each other in the Blue Square Premier opener. MASSIVE!!!! (bigger than Leeds v Exeter anyway)

BoneDog Posted 24 July 2009 Posted 24 July 2009 I am liking the Notts love. I used to go and watch Notts Count back in the late 80's early 90's when Steve Cherry was in goal. What a keeper he was! I used to stand at the back of the stand on the side where the singin went on. I remember a character, I think he was called the wizard or something! I only went to about 20 games but had some good times and saw some great football, Cherry kept alot of clean sheets

Whilst not being up to speed on the day to day of the club, Rico always struck me has dealt harshly by the club. Also went the 2-2 draw with Bury when Martin scored to save ya (although it didn't really matter). And the 1-0 loss to Middlesbrough where Whitlow hit the bar from an Oakes corner.
