JoeyB Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Jodie may bag a seat with you too Joe... Will you buy her a gag to stop her moaning too?
Floating Fox Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Train and night out in Sheffield for this. Can't wait. If the game's anywhere near as much fun as it was last time (when we lost 3-0 Hugo Sanchez, if you're reading) then this should be an absolute belter. Which train you on buddy. I'm all over this !
Fosse Boy Posted 30 July 2009 Posted 30 July 2009 Which train you on buddy. I'm all over this ! It'll be not too long after half ten I imagine (think that's the time student rail cards become valid), think it's gonna be an all dayer! Might have to pop in Harborough Wetherspoons for a Tyskie breakfast beforehand.

Let me know what time your train comes through Leicester...I'll get on it with our lot I reckon...If y'dont mind that is?
Fosse Boy Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 Let me know what time your train comes through Leicester...I'll get on it with our lot I reckon...If y'dont mind that is? It'd be a pleasure to have you on board (nautical pun ) mate. Pauli songs and continental lager from Leicester to Sheffield is an absolute no brainer as far as I'm concerned.
SamL Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 is the train viable for this? Not unless you're planning to stay the night in Sheffield. The last train back to Leicester leaves Sheffield at 9.38pm.
tartanowl Posted 31 July 2009 Posted 31 July 2009 For those interested in staying over there is a Travelodge on Pond Hill (cheap) not far from the station which is fairly close to the piggery. From Pond Hill you just carry on up Sheaf Street until it becomes Shoreham Street. Continue down Shoreham Street and then eventually you will get to the sty. The Away End is on Bramall Lane so from Shoreham Street turn off onto John Street and then turn left onto Bramall Lane. The away turnstiles are the first ones you will come across on the Bramall Lane stand. Enjoy your visit and hopefully you give them a doing.

Tartan, last time I was in Sheffield, Eccy Road was closed. I take it that is not a semi-permanent thing?
