bigneville Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 But what if he gets injured?I just dont see why we should take that risk? Are you serious? You would rather Fryatt didn't get his match fitness back on the chance he could injured? Players need matches to get fit, and this is the perfect oppurtinity for Fryatt to get his match fitness back. You can't not pick a player just because he might get injured. How else is he going to get fit for the league campaign?
Thracian Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Precisely which team he picks doesn't bother me but I do hope that he involves all his squad players more fully than last season. We seem to have a smaller squad which to my mind is a good thing because I'd rather go for quality than quantity any day but I really don't want to see genuine first-teamers side-lined for long spells this season and finally becoming irrelevent. I've not bothered to follow things in th close season. Is DJ still involved and available. Cos if he is I'd like to see him involved. In fact I can do without seeing the laboured efforts of our first half yesterday for the rest of the season. Speed, movement and support in numbers is the key to unlocking Championship defences.
Bert Posted 9 August 2009 Posted 9 August 2009 Weale Morrison - Could be Neilson, not sure if he's suspended for the league cup? Berner Tunchev Hobbs N'Guessan Adams Wellens King Howard Fryatt. Subs: Logan Brown O'Neill Gradel Oakley Waghorn Dickov.
Bryn Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I think he should be suspended in the League Cup as well, I'm fairly sure a domestic ban covers all English cup competitions and league games?
Shane Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Heres my team. A 4-3-3 WealeO'Neill Hobbs Tunchev Powell Wellens Oakley Ajdarevic N'Guessan Fryatt WaghornDJ to come on at half time to replace fryatt.
Webbo Posted 10 August 2009 Author Posted 10 August 2009 According to the Mockery King won't be available as he's on international duty.
davieG Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Leghorn available http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1749803,00.html
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I hear that King and Tuncvhev are on international duty and Waghorn is available. This is what I'd go for: Weale Neilson/O'Neil Hobbs Morrison BernerN'Guessan Oakley Adams Gradel Howard Fryatt Then probably bring on Waghorn and Wellens if needs be.
Shane Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 I hope NP tries 4-3-3 i could really see n'guessan, fryatt, waghorn working and getting plenty of goals
Jfox Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 Team Logan O'Neil Morrison/Tunchev(if fit) Brown Powell Gradel Berner Ajdarevic Adams Howard Waghorn Subs Morrison(if Tunchev's fit)/ Fryatt Weale Hobbs Burns N'Guessan Dickov
milan_foxes Posted 10 August 2009 Posted 10 August 2009 TeamLogan O'Neil Morrison/Tunchev(if fit) Brown Powell Gradel Berner Ajdarevic Adams Howard Waghorn Subs Morrison(if Tunchev's fit)/ Fryatt Weale Hobbs Burns N'Guessan Dickov Somebody has just said that Tunchev isnt available?!
ob1kanobe0 Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 Somebody has just said that Tunchev isnt available?! Well he's in Bulgaria for the titanic clash against the super power in football, Latvia, this isn't just a friendly, this game is WAR. Teletext and BBC online are saying Neilson is suspended.
King Cal Posted 12 August 2009 Posted 12 August 2009 King away with Wales, Tunchev still injured, Save Waghorn for Sat he's proved he's good enough, give Fryatt the Match Fitness its so obvious he needs, and give Adjarevic, Chambers and Logan some much needed time on the pitch, also think Dyer played very well at left back early on last season and now Mattock gone may be needed there on the odd occasion, Hobbs and Brown need time as a partnership, and Wellens just didnt look comfortable enough on Sat. Logan Morrison/O'Neill Hobbs Brown Dyer Gradel Wellens Adjarevic N'Guessan Fryatt Chambers Subs: Weale Berner O'Neill Adams Oakley Waghorn Howard
