AjcW Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 Your thoughts on him really, I think he is a highly underrated manager with a great eye for a bargain and a genuinely nice guy, likes his team to play decent football and seems to develop young players well. Teams Managed: Sheffield United: 40% Huddersfield: 37.88% Wigan Athletic: 37.5% Palace: 61.11% Birmingham: 37.4% Wigan Athletic: 34.3% Sunderand: 100% Will be interesting to see how he does on a big budget at Sunderland. Potential to be a future United manager? Or even England?
Koke Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 He's still a moaning cock. I've never seen a person who moans about officials more than Mr Bruce. Decent manager though - Sunderland is about his level.
Edmund Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 He's still a moaning cock. I've never seen a person who moans about officials more than Mr Bruce. Warnock?
AjcW Posted 18 August 2009 Author Posted 18 August 2009 Warnock? There should be a warnock is a moaning cock song.
Joe. Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 He's still a moaning cock. I've never seen a person who moans about officials more than Mr Bruce. Decent manager though - Sunderland is about his level. Balls to that, Mark Hughes is the biggest whinging bellend around.
Edmund Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 sorry just a suggestion No need for apologies. Just don't think he is a cock. Never use to be a fan but I admire his love for the game. That aside he has to be the biggest moaner when it comes to officials.

I take it you don't mc lI actually liked him the other day when he was on the football league show talking about his admiration for pearson. They are pretty similar in terms of discipline but the only difference is Warnock is a media whore.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 There are a lot more magagers that I dislike more than him. He is arguably the best English manager along with Redknapp. Like you say he has an eye for bargains, and I thoguht he did very well at Wigan.
Uncle Ben Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 .... likes his team to play decent football and seems to develop young players well.Potential to be a future United manager? Or even England? Nah, Birmingham served up some grim stuff - buying Cristoffe Dugarry coudn't even disguise that - and when they tried to play something a bit more attractive they got relegated.
The Doctor Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 He's still a moaning cock. I've never seen a person who moans about officials more than Mr Bruce. Uncle Albert Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 I think the best Bruce will be able to get is a team like Everton, Tottenham or Villa.
Anish Posted 18 August 2009 Posted 18 August 2009 The only reason why the likes of Bruce, O'Neill, Moyes et al will never get the chance of managing the so-called Big 4 is because those clubs are obssessed with continental managers. Once Fergie retires, I'd bet my bottom dollar that they won't go for a home grown British manager. Like Chelsea, the next managers of Liverpool and Arsenal will be European and I can see United going that way. We can forget about giving English managers a chance to manage at the top level, there's a glass ceiling and Villa/Spurs/Everton are the best they can hope for.
AyewJoking Posted 19 August 2009 Posted 19 August 2009 Anyway, Steve Bruce is good if you want to survive in the premier league but I dont think he'll ever win much apart from a leaague cup maybe.
