Fosse Boy Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 I saw that if Beckford plays against fast defenders then he is almost completely ineffective unless you give the ball away to him via a retarded backpass. I meant about them being outsung. Lids fans were clearly louder, with much of the stadium stood up for the whole game. Just like beckford should of been against Millwall after he elbowed the keeper?Like the Lpool fans really care about a mere cup game against a league 1 team. Yeah, because historic rivalry counts for nothing.

Thought Leeds were very unlucky and made a very good account of themselves.
Samilktray Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 My Leeds supporting mate said he thought the atmosphere was pretty average and that he expected a bit more. But yannoooo.
weluv Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 was back of the Gelderd mate, f****g quality. They started there Ring of fire bounce thing, so we did 'shall we do a bounce for you?' and then got 'let's go fooking mental' going, with the whole of the Gelderd, NE & NW joining in. I think night games add more to the atmosphere, but hope we can get a good crowd for the charlton game in 2 weeks' time.
Tommeh Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Leeds on an average night still piss all over anyone else in English football.
StanSP Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Wasn't expecting to see Everton 3-0 up inside 20 minutes
Part Of The Crowd Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 I meant about them being outsung. Lids fans were clearly louder, with much of the stadium stood up for the whole game. All I heard on the several streams (being fair some better than others with several different channels) was 'LIIIIIIIVEEEERPOOOOL, LIIIVERRRPOOOL' and other such generic but easy to distinguish songs. The only time I heard a considerable effort from the Leeds fans was coming into the second half when Marching On Together was being played over the PA system, they turned it off which was when you could hear them singing it. Which is disapointing to be honest as having been to Elland Road last season I know exactly how loud they can be and was fully expecting it to be an excellent atmosphere.
Salieri Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Wasn't expecting to see Everton 3-0 up inside 20 minutes Brown will be topping up his tan on an "extended" holiday soon.
lildave3 Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 I personally thought the fans were about even. Both were quality though, as expected.
lou Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 All I heard was Marching On Together Only heard the Pool fans when they scored but Im sure they were singing, depends where the Mics are too I suppose
lildave3 Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Red card for Fabio, ref had no choice. They've just took Macheda off and Owen is now alone up front
syston_fox Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Gareth Barry header. 1-1 against Fulham. What the hell is going on at Everton too? Goal crazy over the last week.
Head Honcho Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Gareth Barry header. 1-1 against Fulham. What the hell is going on at Everton too? Goal crazy over the last week. Need the two manc teams to win for an 8/1 five timer, my other three teams are well on top.
syston_fox Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Need the two manc teams to win for an 8/1 five timer, my other three teams are well on top. Man City are well on top at the moment and appears to only be a matter of time before they get the second.

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Preston have a consolation. Spurs can't buy a clean sheet.
Salieri Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 5-1 to Spurs. Bit surprised by that, Preston are a very good home side normally. Thought they would have given Spurs a run for their money. Hopefully we can add to their misery on Saturday.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Hull are shite, I know its cup but still. Good win for Spurs, hopefully PNE wont get over it in time for Saturday.
Head Honcho Posted 23 September 2009 Posted 23 September 2009 Man City are well on top at the moment and appears to only be a matter of time before they get the second. Where's this bloody goal?
