StanSP Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 3rd Round DrawArsenal v West Brom Chelsea v QPR Bolton v West Ham Barnsley v Burnley Hull City v Everton Leeds Utd v Liverpool Manchester United v Wolves Manchester City v Fulham Sunderland v Birmingham City Peterborough v Newcastle Carlisle Utd v Portsmouth Nottingham Forest v Blackburn Rovers Stoke City v Blackpool S****horpe v Port Vale Preston v Tottenham Hotspur Aston Villa v Cardiff I think those shall be the best games. Thin Forest have the potential to spring an upset on Blackburn. And Leeds vs Liverpool should be a fiery affair. As for Cardiff, I think that on current form they should give O'Neill's men a good run for their money. And, had we beaten Preston, we would have had a good tie against Spurs!
lildave3 Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Leeds v Liverpool is a tie. Nailed on TV, and a decent watch.
Father Ted Posted 29 August 2009 Posted 29 August 2009 Carlisle and Port Vale both got half decent chances of getting through.

Uncle Albert Posted 22 September 2009 Author Posted 22 September 2009 Reckon Liverpool will be playing a strong team, Rafa said in a interview that he is taking all cup competitions seriously, probably a more realistic target and will generate cash for transfers.

No dream strikeforce of Voronin and N'Gog tonight then?
Uncle Albert Posted 22 September 2009 Author Posted 22 September 2009 No dream strikeforce of Voronin and N'Gog tonight then? Yeah can see Torres being rested but Gerrard, Mascherano will probably be playing with Agger, Aurelio, Babel, Riera all starting aswell.

This. And the start leeds have made to the season shows they cant be underestimated no matter who they are playing(That hurt). I think we will see Gerrard but not torres. Probably a start for Babel. Maybe a different goalkeeper but thats it.
