AjcW Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Fall season returns this month. Im sure there are some followers of some fantastic shows on this forum. Basically september sees the return of many of America best exports. However they are obviously only available to us online. List of shows to look out for, on this the best website: Yank TV Two and A Half Men: Season premiere should be out tomorrow. 90210: 2nd season Started two weeks ago(Has been great so far) The Big Bang Theory  : Season premiere should also be out tomorrow. Family guy/ American Dad and The cleveland show: All return September the 28th. Those are just a few(Basically my favourites). Hoping this can turn into a discussion of all things American TV. Also for fans of 24 this years season premiere will be 4 hours, yes 4 hours long. And is out mid January I believe.
Alexikokopops Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Two and a Half Men is the shittest programme in the world. Literally. It's awful. Even worst than Lab Rats.
AjcW Posted 21 September 2009 Author Posted 21 September 2009 Two and a Half Men is the shittest programme in the world. Literally. It's awful. Even worst than Lab Rats. Fair enough, your opinion.
Alexikokopops Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 Fair enough, your opinion. That programme really really irritates me
AjcW Posted 21 September 2009 Author Posted 21 September 2009 That programme really really irritates me I love it... The laughter is a bit annoying though. Its won a shit load of Emmys though. To be honest though, Chuck Lorre's second project The Big Bang Theory shits all over it and is the best american sitcom around.
Bert Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 All the American TV programmes running now are shite. I much prefer to watch repeats of Freinds, Frasier etc compared to the shit nowadays.
AjcW Posted 21 September 2009 Author Posted 21 September 2009 All the American TV programmes running now are shite. I much prefer to watch repeats of Freinds, Frasier etc compared to the shit nowadays. I would agree that nothing now is as good. But to say they are shite tells me that youve really hardly watched any. Big Bang theory?? Family guy and american dad??
Libertine Posted 21 September 2009 Posted 21 September 2009 I would agree that nothing now is as good. But to say they are shite tells me that youve really hardly watched any. Big Bang theory?? BLAH Family guy? No way near how it used to be. american dad?? Alright.

Fox You Forest Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 I like Big Bang Theory, Cuoco. and 24 is probably my favourite show. Not keen on the rest though.
Smudge Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Just finished watching 2 hours of House xth (new) season twas good!
Guest Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Disappointed to find this isn't a thread devoted to discussing some Classic Terrorvision Oh well, cannae wait for 24
Asha Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 I've never seen the attraction of Family Guy, never. I've sat and watched it on numerous occasions but it just does nothing for me. Big Bang Theory though is quite good to be fair.
lou Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Lie To Me is good but mainly bacause Tim Roth is in it and hes British
AjcW Posted 22 September 2009 Author Posted 22 September 2009 BBT was funny as always. CSI Miami Also out last night. I like lie to me lou, its very clever. Dont know if anyone saw the advert for Sky Arts HD and there new american drama "In Treatment" it focuses upon a psychiatrist and his patients, a different one every eppisode and we catch up with them throughout the season to see how there "Treatment" is progressing, seems like a good concept and has been very successful in america. Its out here on October 5th at 10pm.
AjcW Posted 22 September 2009 Author Posted 22 September 2009 Frasier > All other American comedy. If they still made it.
Fosse Boy Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 If they still made it. Just because it's an old series doesn't mean it can't be better than the current crop?
Simi Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Thankfully Poker After Dark has just started again. The Office US will start again soon I think, cannot wait. Anybody who doesn't watch it is really missing out.

Absoultely awesome way to spend your Sunday morning.
lildave3 Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Comedy Central seem to be doing Office US marathons at least one day every weekend at the moment. Absoultely awesome way to spend your Sunday morning. Season 3(I think?) finished showing last week on Comedy Central, now I want Season 4 to be shown! I don't want to watch it on the internet, it's just not the same
Libertine Posted 22 September 2009 Posted 22 September 2009 Frasier > All other American comedy. This fucker. Anything with a man like Kelsey Grammar performing silent diving tackles wins automatically.
