ozleicester Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Disapointing to hear he has left, had a few emails back and forth and seemed to be trying to help. I had been asking if there was any chace of anything special what with being a foxile and he seemd to be working to put something special togwether..maybe a meet players etc. Sadly when he passed my details onto another rep of the club and put it in her hands... the special things they came up with for me were... the usual come along to the dinners/club lounges etc. Good Luck Peter
Dr The Singh Posted 29 September 2009 Posted 29 September 2009 Peter Jones was a PR man, yes he was friendly but with many issues I contacted him with, he would just re-iterate the clubs PR nonsense, if full view of it being nonsical and down right ludicrious, he resolved nothing, and just gave the clubs view! It's nothing personal, but it doen't matter who takes that role, your gonna get the same BS!!
Raj Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 Found this abit interesting regarding the Club and Jones' "departure" http://www.fansonline.net/leicestercity/mb...w.php?id=157925
Nick Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 I had a few dealings with Peter over the years. On each and every occasion he was professional, competent, considerate, approachable and prompt to respond. On not one of these instances did he let me down. Sad loss for the football club. and more importantly, football fans. I hope Peter moves on to bigger and better things where his skills are appreciated. Good luck for the future, Peter. Nick.
Daggers Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 "I am City through and through" and "Cut me and I bleed LCFC" and "I am never selling this club"...or words to that effect. See 'ya Meeeelan.
Babylon Posted 28 October 2009 Posted 28 October 2009 God you can tell when things are going well results wise, people start caring about non entities behind the scenes leaving. Trying to turn everything into "they fell out", "it's a shambles", "NP hates Hoos and will quit" conspiracies.

Heard the Groundsman fell out with one of his assistants and left the club "I left City cos i thought the grass would be greener on the other side" he said.........

Scoff if you want, but it is well known that when the supporter/customer liaison leaves a club massive things are afoot. Especially when some marketing or PR or whateverthe****hewas bloke goes too. Fact.
