This is a real 6 pointer of a match.

Coventry have 7 points from their previous 4 matches, so have almost caught us up, they are just 1 point behind in 10th place. So we could either be 4 points ahead of them or 2 points behind them if theres a winner. They will still be delighted with the comeback against Middlesbrough at the Ricoh from 2-0 down, Best scoring a last minute equaliser.

And now they will be even more pleased, after coming back from 2-1 down at Watford last night to win 3-2, Best with 2 second half goals, the winner coming late in the match. Leon Best is a man on form scoring 4 goals from his last 4 games. Can our shaky defence keep him out :dunno:

Our recent form against our rivals is fantastic at the Walkers, infact we've beaten them every single time in history there, twice 3-0, twice 2-1, and once 2-0. They have never taken a League point off us at the fortress :P

In contrast though, we haven't won at the Ricoh Arena in 3 visits, and have only scored 1 goal, losing 2-0 last time out, drawing 0-0 and drawing 1-1. So we will be desperate to mimic our great home form against them, away from home on Saturday.

There could be some serious goals in this though, we've scored 5, conceded 5 in our previous 3 matches. Where all of Coventrys recent matches have been very high scoring, they drew 2-2 to Boro, beat Watford and Sheffield United 3-2, and lost to Preston 3-2.

So you have to see us at least doubling our goal total at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry haven't made a single clean sheet there this season, they even lost to Hartlepool in the Carling Cup after extra time there.

Ipswich, Swansea, Bristol City, Sheffield United and Middlesbrough have all scored at least 1 goal at the Ricoh this season, lets hope we can emulate them without conceding.

Very important match, the team will be an interesting one for NP, will Kermo be given another start? Will he stick with the same defence? Will Wellens come in for King if he is fit? Decisions, decisions for NP.

I think if NP gets the team selection right, and we really take the game to Cov and attack them, we will win this comfortably.

And thats what i think we will do, running out 3-1 winners, Gallagher, Kermo and Fryatt all scoring :scarf:

Team for Coventry.

Assuming he is fit, Wellens in for Yanni.

Oakley----King----Wellens in midfield, Gallagher and Dyer pushing up either side of Fryatt.

Plenty of firepower on the bench.

See if you can get Weale, Brown and Hobbs talking to each other before the cock ups are made.

And fine Brown £1k every time he hoofs the ball straight to a Cov player. (Proceeds to my Spanish Bank account, naturally.... )

I'm going for a 2-2 draw. Goals from Fryatt and Howard (coming off the bench).

My 1st away game of the season so hopefully i'm wrong and we nick one at the end to make it 3-2

Cant..... no money :( last night cost me a fortune

Know what you mean. The train prices From London were ridiculous, almost as cheap to have flown.

However if my Brown 'anti-hoof' scheme is approved (see previous post) I can sub you! ;)

lol thanks! I drove but by the time you add up tickets, diesel, parking, food and drinks it made for a dear game - worth it though :)

win 3-0

adams (in for dyer) with 2 and gallagher with the other.

Can't see for the life of me why Adams would be getting in ahead of Dyer after last night but hey ho.

I reckon a 2-1 win for us, Howard and Gallagher

adams would be getting in ahead of dire because dire is a one-trick pony who can't even perform that trick properly.

And i haven't used the bold button because when i pressed it the internet closed. does any one know why this could have happened?

I'm going with my dad we went to last Cov game at the ricoh it was poor game last time. Cov support was shit asual. The reason they don't get any fans is cause 1: The prices are dear!! 2: The ground is miles away from the city centre 3: Hard ground to park your car. Anyway I want to beat them because my postcode is CV what I hate most.

I'm hoping 6-0 Leicester. Cov to go down with Derby & Forest!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Leon Best is their danger man. Keep him quiet and we will win.

I enter your board with peace and respect. People slating the Ricoh i.e parking etc. If you know the crack I can help.

Come off the M6 at J3, head down foleshill road, you will find ample social clubs with parking at rear for a fiver, the Car park just off the M6 is good as you go to what really is an away only pub, good trek to the ground though. Any info required just ask.

well are defense are a complete mess at the mo, BUT WE SEEM TO BE SCORING VERY OPENLY.....I'll take a 10 - 9 Home win :)

Apart from last night, we've let in a few recently, but also started to score more, 8 in the last five compared to four in the first five.

We'll come and attack, should be an open contest.

I think this is a derby day that could better the previous ones, both clubs had good away win tuesday, be end to end stuff. I hear 5,000 of you lot are coming over which always adds to the occaision, maybe about 23,000 which is a good gate for us,
