Fosse Boy Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 Burch woke me up this morning too. Not impressed. They've run out of ideas now. I just got one from 'LCFC' yesterday.
THE MAGICIAN Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Only just over 26,000 sold so far, thought we would have sold 30,000 + for this game. Doubt we will sell 4,000 + between now and sat so quite dissapointing really.
Shrenchel Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Expected rather than dissapointing. 30 quid if you can get one of the few matchday seats with any semblance of a good atmosphere or 28 quid to be stared at like a war criminal if you try and enjoy yourself.

If it doesn't, that means the attendance should be a minimum of 29,000, and more likely closer to 31k. If it does, there is no way it will be a sell out and the Club will look a tad silly

It may be a minor point, but if all week the Club has gone on about the game 'heading for a sell-out', and the crowd is then about 27, 28k, it once more damages their credibility. When do we know when they are telling the truth? It would also be a slightly disappointing effort by City fans. Oh well. If we win I won't care in the slightest!
Tommeh Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 lol lol Just had Birch ring me up with a pre recorded message! This is desperation!! I'll trot down friday when i'm back - not realying on the post in this country.

It's not the first time they've done this sort of thing, so we're not really surprised.

They did tell me that they still think there will be more than 30k though........We shall see. One thing for sure being in N block i'm ready for the chant of " YOUR GROUNDS TO BIG FOR YOU " and if its less than 30k they aint wrong.
maddog Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 I will make love to Steve Howard if the attendance is 30000 or more

Its the big one this saturday prior to this Ive had 3 text messages all sent as if they are from different former leicester players
Shrenchel Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Birch can nosh on my cock. Went out of the meeting I was in cus I thought it was something important I've been waiting for. He probably wouldn't even bother going if he had to pay 30 quid and sit amongst the window lickers.
AoWW Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 What the fuck, why hasn't Birch called me? Me neither.
Guest Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 What the fuck, why hasn't Birch called me? He rang me earlier, turns out he's got your old number
Fosse Boy Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Dear 'Birch', a) I can't make it for "the big one" on Saturday because I'm a hundred odd miles to the sout-east with almost zero cash and... b) you won't let me stand and "get behind the lads" if I do come, so why bother trying? Sincerely, AFIE
GUJJIFOX Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 after about 6 missed calls yesterday i picked up and got the recorded messege ( i thought it'd be 3 trying to sell me contract and keep me hanging on the line by saying "but sirr" ) not to mention about 8 texts over the past week and a half, and about 10million emails gosh! Fair enough about receiving marketing from time to time but this is just too much!
Fosse Boy Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Just got the latest text. Thank fuck they don't know my e-mail!
maddog Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Anyone work at ticket office know roughly what the attendence will be I'm thinking 25k-27k myself.
