Fosse Boy Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 I wasnt referring to the flag at that point, the clown who I was replying to seems to have a massive problem with all health and safety because they dislike people standing at games. There could be many an accident caused because of this. Nice to meet you too sir. Where did I mention standing at games in this thread? I'm talking about the flag.
PBRam Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Why not? I'll say what I feel about Franchise and their so called "fans".I've no reason to respect the overkill on health and safety laws in this country, that's why I'm moaning at them. Derby fans take that flag to every away game. Have there been any "tragic accidents" or "lost lives" at said games? Erm, no. Hundreds of clubs hae fans take big banners to away games every week in both this country and across the world. So why should our ground regulations be any different and deny them that right? It's just stupid mollycoddling without any significant reason. With our flag as I believe our flag man has said on here before... it goes up before kick off and comes down before the game kicks off.. it adds to the atmosphere i believe... It isn't up during the game or obstructing views... and if there is any spare seats (a lower-profile games) then it can cover the spare seats...

And like I said I wasnt referring to people losing lives because of a flag, I meant your constant moaning about safe standing and all that crap. If you want to stand fuck off to Germany, your always banging on about them and their footballing culture.

Uncle Albert Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Righty-ho then. It's been an absolute pleasure haing a civilised debate with you. What because I have called you arrogant disrespectful because you said they arent a 'real' footballing club? Ow know they missed the conference out. Big wow. Has no effect on Leicester City so why get so bothered about them. And if you dont like not being able to stand at a game then go to Germany where you can stand and drink like a loser. Pack your moaning about health and safety and go to the football for the right reasons to support Leicester not instead of trying to get oneover on the health and safety because you were able to stand for 90 minutes or you were able to take a poxy flag with you.

I don't think that's relevant to the thread is it? As I've mentioned before in my last two or three posts. I would stay and argue further but life's just too short I'm afraid.

Without wanting to argue for him... You can stand in this country in grounds with terraces... also pretty much every ground in the country allows you to take a flag, it is not agains the FA rules or health and safety its more on club preference, Leicester obviously are denying us this, which is entirely up to them... You dont have to go to Germany to see a flag... because the flag will no doubt go to Middlesbrough on the Tuesday with us and will definitely be at Pride Park against QPR next Saturday..

When will it sink into you? I couldnt give a crap about your flag and I am not argueing about this flag. Yes and fair enough if there is terracing but if there's not then clubs dont really want people standing, yeah when I do go to a City game I will try and stand but I dont make a bigdeal about it because that isnt what I go to watch Leicester for. If I can stand its an added bonus. Yet for people to constantly moan about not being able to stand at certain grounds is a tad pathetic I think.

But where have I mentioned anything standing related in this thread? All I wanted to know was why you thought it was funny that they couldn't bring their flag. If I want to talk about standing etc., I'll do it in the relevant thread. You took the thread off topic because it suited you and gave your more grounds to dispense random schoolyard insults at me.

Make your mind up please. And you were the one who brought up health and safety and this is one of the things they go on about standing, so therefore I didnt really take it off topic. Good day to you, you Jackass.
Shrenchel Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 i bet you're a right barrel of laughs at the football...... . Never realised Uncle Albert was such a window licker, what a disabled.
Raj Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 In a related(H&S reasons) but unrelated matter im sure its the same when Jobber gets a thumbs down when he wants to batter his drum at away games. Im sure he gets refused at some grounds for H&S reasons. Tis all shit but thats what happens when you all subscribe to Skysports!!!!
Podge Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 I think it's a shame we aren't allowing the flag into the Walkers, I'd love it if we could get together a fans group and have flags displays of our own. But obviously our club don't like added colour or atmosphere.
hairy Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 I think old people should be banned under H & S. All those flasks containing hot drinks and the constant moaning.
cecchini Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 . Never realised Uncle Albert was such a window licker, what a disabled. whats a window licker?

lavrentis Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 whats a window licker? Normally means mentally challenged but not in a literal sense.
Daggers Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 I wish someone would ban Uncle Albert's fucking awful misuse of the Queen's English.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Alot of people know me and Uncle Albert never got on but the last few months he's turned into one of the best posters on this board. I agree 100 % with him. A cock in essex all you ever do is moan about atmosphere and standing up and how you love lower league or European football No one is forcing you to follow Leicester and in my opinion you're not a real City fan anyway. You didn't go Cov away because you said the atmosphere would be rubbish. Well i'm sorry me and Albert go to support Leicester and not to sing FC United song at a Leicester game. Im glad they can't take their flag.
Budweiser Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 You have no right whatsoever to say they arent real football fans, you clown. And if they need a shitty flag to add more atmosphere and colour to a local derby then that says it all. Come kick off tomorrow people wont care about this flag there will be that much hatred between the two fans the fans wont bat an eyelid. You moan about health and safety and all this crap, say there was a tragic accident at the Walkers or another ground Leicester were at and you were standing and acting a plank and something horrible happened and people lost their lives or were seriously injured, then you might respect what health and safety people are trying to do. Calm down, clearly trying to get a dig in by calling him 'a clown'. AFIE has a reasonable point But it's a bit harsh to say they aren't REAL football fans. Define a real football fan?
