Part Of The Crowd Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 They have a massive one as well displayed on the top tier to avoid that lovely empty concrete shell for the second tier (if it's ever built). Can of worms there mate, can of worms
Daggers Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 If I saw your Derby flag I would do a big steaming turd and wipe my arse with it. Wiping your arse with a fresh steaming turd is as idiotic as the club banning the flag. You don't by any chance work in a managerial capacity at City? Someone with responsibility for improving the "Matchday experience"?
James. Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 Wiping your arse with a fresh steaming turd is as idiotic as the club banning the flag. Have to agree with that. If I needed to wipe my arse I'd probably use toilet paper instead of a fresh steaming turd. Just my view.
MPH Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 If I saw your Derby flag I would do a big steaming turd and wipe my arse with it. have a word with yourself
maddog Posted 14 October 2009 Posted 14 October 2009 We hate Derby and we hate Derby, we hate Derby and we hate Derby, we hate Derby and we hate Derby, we are the Derby haters. You know the rest. That will be the only chant around Saturday i bet. There will be no supporting our players, just hating Derby.
marknotts Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 have a word with yourself :rolleyes You hate Derby so much but they don't really give a shit about you.
davieG Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 You hate Derby so much but they don't really give a shit about you. And you being on here means you don't give a shit about us then
Guest Bilo Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 And you being on here means you don't give a shit about us then Of course not. Forest fans only hate Derby and don't give a shit about us. They're far too MASSIVE for us.
Raj Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 I'm pretty sure Fez had to get a fire certificate so he could put the big FT flag up at the Walkers. It's not really that cretinous a thing to want to check a flag is fire proof Talking about flags...is the FT one still 'erected' at games???? If not can i have a refund???
Basingstoke Fox Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 We can sing Your Flags too big for us! No we can't.
Guest Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 No we can't. Ohhhh yes we can! ( I know it's a bit early for Panto season but fuck it )
Fosse Boy Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Thought you might regret that. Pissed posting is not big and it's not clever.
Daggers Posted 15 October 2009 Posted 15 October 2009 Why? Because you have an arse covered in steamy, smelly shit.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Because you have an arse covered in steamy, smelly shit. Don't knock it till you have tried it.
Uncle Albert Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 I think its funny that they arent aloud to take their flag.
Fosse Boy Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 I think its funny that they arent aloud to take their flag. Why?
Uncle Albert Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Why? Because our 'rivals' arent aloud to bring a flag that they take to every game. Dont see why people are moaning because their not aloud to bring it. Fuck em. If it was 'the plastic MK Dons' you would be laughing and dont say you wouldnt.

Of course I'd be laughing, but they're not real football fans so that's OK in my book. Even though Derby are our rivals, football fans should be more united on things like this. That banner would have added a bit of colour and atmosphere to a local derby, which I'm personally all in favour of. It's more a case of football fans v the 'elf 'n' safety brigade rather than a Leicester v Derby issue for me really.

And if they need a shitty flag to add more atmosphere and colour to a local derby then that says it all. Come kick off tomorrow people wont care about this flag there will be that much hatred between the two fans the fans wont bat an eyelid. You moan about health and safety and all this crap, say there was a tragic accident at the Walkers or another ground Leicester were at and you were standing and acting a plank and something horrible happened and people lost their lives or were seriously injured, then you might respect what health and safety people are trying to do.

Being a Derby fan I would like to point out that most don't 'hate' Leicester... Yeah we hate Forest and despise Leeds... But Leicester some people may dislike but to be honest its no where near the kinda rivalry we have with the above mentioned teams... Just closer to get to thats all.. It is a shame we can't bring our flag, as for colour its black and white so not a lot of colour... Also can you name me a ground or match where someone has lost their live or been seriously injured because of a flag... Im intrigued
Uncle Albert Posted 16 October 2009 Posted 16 October 2009 Also can you name me a ground or match where someone has lost their live or been seriously injured because of a flag... Im intrigued I wasnt referring to the flag at that point, the clown who I was replying to seems to have a massive problem with all health and safety because they dislike people standing at games. There could be many an accident caused because of this.

Why not? I'll say what I feel about Franchise and their so called "fans". I've no reason to respect the overkill on health and safety laws in this country, that's why I'm moaning at them. Derby fans take that flag to every away game. Have there been any "tragic accidents" or "lost lives" at said games? Erm, no. Hundreds of clubs have fans who take big banners to away games every week in both this country and across the world. So why should our ground regulations be any different and deny them that right? It's just stupid mollycoddling without any significant reason.
