Teams Show No Adventure

You'd be hard pushed not to agree with the Hobbsy having just seen Derby content with obviously coming to take a point on Saturday, they were god awful. He doesn't deny the fact that we they were disappointed with the lack of firepower up front so I've no idea what your point is?

It wasn't like we didn't play any decent football

There is a difference between putting 10 men behind the ball for 90 minutes and trying, but ultimately not being good enough to break a team down.

We are rubbish against teams who "park the bus" in goal. We were before Pearson and we still are, we are usually at our best when teams try to actually play against us.

Whilst I understand your point, as we could have done more... you do seemed to be making a meal out of everything.

I think a lot of teams struggle against that. One of those games where you need to get an early goal so they change the game plan.

Think tomorrow will be a simular game too.

he shoul keep his mouth shut.

He almost cost us the game in the last few mins after letting their striker run through only to recover with a miracle tackle, could have been a pen if he had got that wrong.

Wasn't it outside of the box? Fair enough he made a mistake but the effort (and quality) shown to recover was outstanding.

I just hate all this calling of how shit Derby are, and how the only reason we didn't win is because we play too quality brand of football to break down sides.

Too call Derby for having no adventure when we have absolutely none at home is foolish.

We've only got 2 points in our last 3 homes game against 2 poor teams and Preston, and thats down to us not them lacking adventure.

And it's difficult to break down sides that come with the intention of sticking everyone behind the ball.

We did have adventure, we just weren't good enough in the final third in terms of quality.

Corky said it better than I did

Agreed, we didn't score in the first half so it just appeared that the players gave up on trying to win the game in the second half. The best teams cope with what different teams do with their tactics, if Derby come to play negative then that's our problem not theirs. We won't get anywhere if we don't adapt.

We had adventure in the first half but really nothing to scare Derby. Second half we were void of any ideas and never once looked like winning the game. I can't remember a single save Stephen Bywater had to make, and that is solely Leicester's fault not Derby's fault.

Of course we can't deal with packed defences if we play narrow, slow and short of attacking numbers. Did someone mention adventure? We really don't have a clue how to show footballing adventure and haven't had really since Levein surprised even himself at home against Sheffield United.

In some areas we don't even sign, develop or play anyone to deliver "adventure".
