Portsmouth manager Paul Hart has moved quickly to deny reports linking him with a swoop for the former Netherlands international Edgar Davids. Hart has also reiterated that he is not interested in bringing Amr Zaki, who had a spell on loan with Wigan Athletic last season, to Fratton Park and has also ruled out a swoop for Algerian striker Raffik Djebbour. Leicester City have held talks with Davids, who is currently without a club since leaving Ajax almost 18 months ago, but Pompey were also believed to be keen to secure the 36-year-old's services. However, when asked about the rumours, Hart said: "Edgar Davids? No, it isn't true. "I've never heard of Raffik Djebbour and there's no interest in Zaki. There never has been - and there never will be."

Judging by his less than successful time at Spurs, and that we are 3 years on from that, and that he is 36, and that he has been retired for a year, and that he has a disruptive element to his character (Pearson won't stand any shit from him!!) When you look through all the hype at best, he could be marginally better than what we have. Why not try and buy Tom Cleverley a much better option. ((Your all fookin drunk on the HYPE))
