IMO NP doesn't want him, this has got MM all over it. It will mean that Kingy might not play. Teams will raise their game to play against 'Edgar Davids' - see Notts County. I would rather Andy King playing week in, week out than Edgar Davids.

We could generate another 36 pages tomorrow but it won't change the fact that nothing will happen in the next 24 hours. It's frustrating, MM has really hyped this up and I'd like to know one way or the other right now which way it's going to go. If it isn't pulled off at this late stage of negotiations, I'll be annoyed and disappointed. If it's still ongoing, one cannot get too disheartened. Fingers crossed it happens. Perhaps Knowitall could shed some light on the situation?
