Comming up last season has feck all to do with it. You been on the Tequila? Over the course of a season, you are going to get back to back shit games. Manchester United last year lost 4-1 to Liverpool and Fulham 2-0 in back to back games. Newcastle are top of the division and without a win in 3 games. Coming up last season has everything to do with it as history shows that where you come from takes affect on the present.

The last few games of our relegation season were exciting, didn't stop them from being shite did it? I'd rather have consistent, steady improvement over this year and consolidate our place at this level for now.
