If you pop in 'Out Of The Vaults' after the match, the author (Paul Taylor, with the London branch) will be there and you can ask him! I'd try and remember to ask him, but I'm sure I'd forget the answer....

I used to own a copy, which for one reason or another now lives in Scotland, irretrievable. It was a very good history of the club, and I'm hoping I can get my hands on a copy.

There are second-hand copies available on amazon.co.uk but none is priced at less than 400% of the original cover-price. Not to worry though, LCFC are 125 years old next year; Messrs Smith and Taylor are planning to have the 3rd edition of the book ready for the... eeerrr... celebrations.

It was thrown out and given to a charity shop with all my other books, music and clothes when I split up with my ex 3 years ago! My music and book collection still hasn't recovered. Bitch. Oh well, she was getting fat anyway, so I win.
