StanSP Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 What are you expecting and what are you looking forward to? I'm mainly anticipating: The Betrayed by Lostprophets (Scheduled for January) Smoke and Mirrors by Lifehouse The Computers and Blues by The Streets (both February) Hawthorne Heights, Linkin Park, The Gaslight Anthem and RHCP are all expected to bring out albums some time next year too.
Libertine Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Nothing I can think of at the minute really. Good chance of Foo Fighters, RHCP and *cough*blink*cough*.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 The inevitable Oasis reunion. Fook off you toff, Sorry should i jizz my pants because Linkin Park or Lostprophets are bringing out a album ? Can't wait for Limp Bizkit or Papa Roach to bring a new album
Fosse Boy Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Fook off you toff, Sorry should i jizz my pants because Linkin Park or Lostprophets are bringing out a album ?Can't wait for Limp Bizkit or Papa Roach to bring a new album lol
Part Of The Crowd Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Dark Tranquility and Soilwork KoL's follow up to Only By The Night should be interesting as well. Edit - DT's got released late this year instead, good for me
Fosse Boy Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Expecting Fighting with Wire to make a name for themselves next year.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 The Stone Roses will save music in 2010.
StanSP Posted 23 November 2009 Author Posted 23 November 2009 Detox - Dr Dre Relapse 2 - Eminem. When's that out?
Fosse Boy Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 The Stone Roses will save music in 2010. Does music need saving?
Edmund Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Does music need saving? The music no. The industry yes.
Hugo Sanchez Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Does music need saving? Yes because there's no one else left without Oasis, Blur and The Verve. We need a impact band this year, or The Stone Roses. Also Eminem bringing out another album Should give it away for free, after that pile of bob he called his comeback album.
Edmund Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Also Eminem bringing out another album Should give it away for free, after that pile of bob he called his comeback album. Good shout as I wonder how many Eminem fans actually paid for his last album.
Samilktray Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Good shout as I wonder how many Eminem fans actually paid for his last album. 608k in its first week. Highest opening sales of any album this year, although I'm not really sure what your trying to say
Lillehamring Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 well, it is my intention to search for more and more bands who are actually making interesting new music, rather than what the major labels and the tv and radio stations think that i want to here... so, hopefully, an end to generic sound-a-like bands and anyone who describes themselves as an 'artist' - take note lahdee****inggaga
Hugo Sanchez Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Good shout as I wonder how many Eminem fans actually paid for his last album. Good point but paying over 10 quid for his last album would had been daylight robbery. It was just that bad. Nothing worst then a ageing rapper who still thinks he's hip. I'm not gonna deny Eminem his due, because the first 3 album were class but his gimmick doesn't work no more.
Edmund Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 608k in its first week.Highest opening sales of any album this year, although I'm not really sure what your trying to say What I was saying is I bet more people obtained his album for free than payed for it legit hence why I said giving it away for free will make ample difference.
StanSP Posted 23 November 2009 Author Posted 23 November 2009 608k in its first week.Highest opening sales of any album this year, although I'm not really sure what your trying to say Me neither but the only thing I can think of is illegally downloading it ??
Edmund Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 Me neither but the only thing I can think of is illegally downloading it ?? Nail on head.
Samilktray Posted 23 November 2009 Posted 23 November 2009 What I was saying is I bet more people obtained his album for free than payed for it legit hence why I said giving it away for free will make ample difference. Fair enough.
