bluefox9er Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 losing 4-0 to forest..the sort of game a promotion aspiring team would win comfortably and without breaking stride. giving up a win in an away game to s****horpe when they should have been 4, maybe 5 goals up. robbie savage was right. this team is at best, mediocre compared to the rest of the division, very much a ' me too' member of this divison and should really consider the season a phenomenal success if they avoid relegation...a much more realistic ambition. The jammy luck we have enjoyed has finally run out, and to make it worse, we have been found out... tony cottee was also right..there's only so long this team can punch above it's weight before the steam and sheer jammy good luck runs out and now there are no more last second jammy goals or acrobatic saves from our keeper to keep up the 'winning' momentum. once again, we flatter to decieve. we will always be a second tier team and there is now a real danger of not being good enough for the championship and too good for divsion 3. sound familiar, anyone?

Bluefoxtim Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 ok fox leisure fan.what have i said thats not true ? or are you doing cartwheels as we just managed to peg one back don't get burger sauce over your fox leisure winter coat... FFS You've made the point that we are punching WELL ABOVE OUR WEIGHT, so what is wrong with us losing? You have no logic in this whatsoever.
melrose Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 you are gay! Now lets see you argue your way out of that my friend!
Edmund Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Are you Robbie Savage in disguise? You're obsessed with Savages comments. Let it lie.
Fox92 Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 I agree with some of that. Yes, we played against a side today who were going to test us and we were poor. We were poor against West Brom and Preston who are another two teams who will be contending for promotion like Forest today. We don't take our chances and we really need a new centre forward. One like Drogba - but who can we buy? Rob Hulse? We need a midfield like McKenna who ran the game today. And please buy Joe Murphy from S****horpe to play in our goal! I don't know what the 'we have found out' bit means but like Hull last year, they got found out didn't they? Not too sure, but we do need to buy some players. Promotion is a far way off...
Babylon Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 One like Drogba - but who can we buy? Rob Hulse?
Edmund Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 please buy Joe Murphy from S****horpe to play in our goal! Stop trying to beg a friend. We all get it that you don't rate Weale. Now it's just getting embarrassing seeing you post the same old tripe trying to get a reaction.
Fox92 Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Who then? Stop trying to beg a friend. We all get it that you don't rate Weale. Now it's just getting embarrassing seeing you post the same old tripe trying to get a reaction. I have to reply to posts don't I, or not?
Salieri Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Chris Weale has been pretty much our player of the season so far. If Capello has any sense he should pick him for his World Cup squad.

This has been coming, lets face it, because our defensive solidity had to crumble one day, and surely even the most hardened Fryatt fans must realise that we are not strong enough at the other end. Unfortunately, the game ended up as a farce and was effectively over when their third goal went it. Although I hate to say it, Forest were faster, better tactically, and in Earnshaw, had a striker that turned Brown inside out from start to finish. Yes, you are right, our position is still a massive achievement. However, and here's the paradox, I can't remember a worse City performance for years. Fryatt fans need to stop being delusional and accept that he is, at best, a good League One striker..... Brown needs to bounce back and quick, because if he doesn't, this showing could really knock his confidence...and Pearson MUST stop being so stubborn and start to introduce some pace into this City side, even if it means he has to play players he doesn't like personally. Its a good thing that the Bristol game comes so quickly and it will demonstrate whether this squad really are as solid as we have been led to believe.
Budweiser Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 we really need a new centre forward. One like Drogba - but who can we buy? Rob Hulse? ! I like Rob Hulse, and he would be a fantastic signing, but in no way is he like Drogba. Still, Hulse
Fox92 Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 !I like Rob Hulse, and he would be a fantastic signing, but in no way is he like Drogba. Still, Hulse I know. I just used him as an example. Drogba has pace and power etc and then I finished with Rob Hulse. Because, who else can we buy? Marcus Tudgay?
