z-layrex Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 Link I'd be scared stiff to ever go to an away there
potter3 Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 LinkI'd be scared stiff to ever go to an away there  The police had it pretty much under control last season. I know they're probably more 'up' for this as it's local rivals though.
potter3 Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 That's not serious. After reading it I agree.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 The fact that the OP of that thread has a signature denying the holocaust made me stop taking it seriously straight away.
RedHux Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 It reads like a group of 16yr olds "giving it large" over the internet. Can't really express my disdain for them adequately without swearing a lot.
Guest Bilo Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 Surely not even a Millwall fan could be that much of a cuntrag?!
z-layrex Posted 17 December 2009 Author Posted 17 December 2009 That's not serious. I really think they are serious going by the replies.
Lillehamring Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 and that, ladies and gentlemen, is why you have to sit down at football games...
Finnegan Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 it isn't serious, it's piss taking. Just a bit more hard line banter is all. You gotta remember Foxes Talk is pretty much a nursery school compared to a lot of fan's forums, even Talking Balls and Bentley's Roof think we're "the kids." I'm not saying they aren't bellends, I'd hope the holocaust denying sig isn't sincere for example. But in regards to the stuff about public muggings and arsenic etc, it's just humour.
BoneDog Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 Yes. Best away last season. It is pretty wild down there, me n the Mrs had a right laugh near them shops in SB when I think back. This Satdeh
Fox You Forest Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 I really think they are serious going by the replies.fooking disgusting tbh. I'd bolt the front door just to make sure you're safe.
Fosse Boy Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 That was one of my favourite away games last season. Good atmosphere, before having to wait in the ground fter thew match for an hour and a bit then being made to get a train which was too small! A right laugh really. I find Millwall fans horrible though, and it was the first time I didnt wear Leicester colours away.
breadandcheese Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 It's all overblown. Been to millwall away a few times when we've played them. The police do a fantastic job and I've never felt under threat at any time. Yes, you're usually penned in after the game waiting for them to open the gate to the alleyway for the station (feels like a safari park caging in animals) but safety-wise, I've never had any concerns.
Kilworthfox Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Big Ol' Bob Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 They were made to look fairly ordinary against West Ham....not the macho men they believe to be.
BoneDog Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 When we went last season I had to carry me Mrs up them stairs at Bermondsey station after the match and when we got up the train was packed so we had to wait for another. As soon as the Leicester train had gone the Millwall fans started coming up on the platform (after having a bit of a ruck with the police for an hour!). I don't normally get worried when I'm out and about but while waiting for the next train I was a little bit wary. It was dark by now which can add to the tension in a tight situation! We were definitely surrounded by a fair few lads who love a bit of violence and I'd say it's a very dodgy little area. Me Mrs was shittin but no-one gave us any bother so all was well cos we had seen a great away win and we got home in one piece What a fine day out it was.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 18 December 2009 Posted 18 December 2009 Given that most Charlton Fans are over 65 or mentaly retarded then I shouldn't worry too much. It would be like a giant size game of whack-a-mole.
Lamby Posted 19 December 2009 Posted 19 December 2009 Nothing kicked off Only had a group of Millwall **** fans drinking and smoking and trying to break the bus I was on
Shrenchel Posted 19 December 2009 Posted 19 December 2009 Drinking AND smoking?! Fvcking nutters. They'll be dead by the time they're 30.
Father Ted Posted 19 December 2009 Posted 19 December 2009 What a game at the Valley by the sounds of it!
Lamby Posted 19 December 2009 Posted 19 December 2009 Drinking AND smoking?! Fvcking nutters. They'll be dead by the time they're 30. Well considering you cant do either of those on the buses anymore, and they were only like 16 What a game at the Valley by the sounds of it! It was, I missed our 3rd one cos I was still getting a hot choc and sausage roll from h/t and missed their 4th cos i left a bit early
