davieG Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Leicester City has launched the exciting 2010/11 season ticket package, revealing the strongest supporter benefits to date. City continues to keep season ticket holders' interests at the heart of the club's decisions, adding extra season ticket benefits for 2010/11 to make up a package of exceptional value for all supporters, in particular for families, young supporters and senior Foxes fans. In the new season, City fans continue to enjoy a host of privileges: their own seat at the Walkers Stadium from only £13 per game, 10% off purchases at the City Megastore, discounts with Fox Travel, priority tickets to away and cup games, exclusive offers and sales for season ticket holders only plus access to the 1884 Sports Bar. New privileges that have also been added for next season include Seat Exchange and a free Foxes Card. In the event of City earning promotion to the Premier League, early bird ticket buyers will secure top division football at Championship prices. In addition, the club continues to encourage young supporters to nurture the next generation of Foxes fans by announcing no price increases for all supporters under the age of 18. The club has frozen prices for senior Season Ticket holders as well. Leicester City Chief Executive Lee Hoos said: "I believe we have come up with a package that offers our Season Ticket holders exceptional value and is fair at the same time. Our prices and benefit packages compare to other clubs very favourably and will be hard to beat. "We are aiming to take a step forward in 2010/11 and trust that our 14,000 season ticket holders continue to pledge their support to the club. By investing in the club, you can play a significant part in taking that next step. "Whilst some ticket prices have increased, these amount to as little as £1 per game on average, with price freezes for most concessions. At our most recent Fans Consultative Committee meeting, fans were of the opinion that a price change was inevitable if we want to grow as a club. "New for next season is Seat Exchange. The fans also gave us the idea of this concept. Most season ticket holders miss a game or two each season, but they can now get free additional match tickets for other games in exchange for their unused season ticket vouchers with our new Seat Exchange scheme. "If you look at the overall package, season ticket holders are the clear winners, as they will be getting even more for their money now, making huge savings compared to buying on a game-by-game basis. Our supporters are fantastic, they have made such a difference to Nigel's team's performances, and we would not exist without them. Hence, they deserve the best possible deal. "You have to accept that you need to invest in a strong playing squad to succeed on the pitch, which is what supporters want. We are lucky to have a Chairman in Milan Mandaric who has been generous when it comes to improving our club by buying quality players and working on the matchday experience. We are equally lucky to have loyal fans who back the club to succeed. Together, we determine where this club is going, and season ticket holders have a central role to play." As a new exciting development, 1st floor seating season tickets in the Great Hall and Keith Weller Lounge are now available for everyone to purchase through the Ticket Office. This makes the outstanding VIP facilities with a padded seat and arguably the best view to the pitch accessible to all supporters. Prices in these areas will not increase, starting from as little as just £27 per game, adding another good reason to buy into the package. Meanwhile, under 8s maintain their right to a free season ticket in the Marks Electrical Family Stand. With additional discounts available for families through the joint season ticket initiative, as well as a comprehensive range of facilities and prices available for disabled supporters, Leicester City has given its all to make football accessible to everyone. Tickets are on sale from February 1 to all fans: current season ticket holders as well as new applicants. Current season ticket holders' seats will be reserved until close of business (5pm) on March 31. After that date, all remaining seats will be released to the general public at an increased price compared to the early bird offer. Matt Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Nice, I'm happy with the price I think i'll be playing - If you got a student ST would this be a under 22's ticket? If so i'm £50 better off if I renew early. The only thing i'm disappointed with is the forced deadline that seems to be getting earlier ever year.
philce Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 It says that the seat exchange is not available in L block? Does that mean I cant use it at all? Or just that the exchanged ticket cant be issued in L?
Rocket-Ron Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 It says that the seat exchange is not available in L block?Does that mean I cant use it at all? Or just that the exchanged ticket cant be issued in L? L block are for season ticket holders only, So they dont want you to bring in a non season ticket holder into that area. Youll have to exchange your seat for a different block.. i think

Is there such thing as a student season ticket anymore? There definitely isn't a student match ticket option anymore as I found out this season! They just have the crappy student supporters scheme for about half a dozen games a season. They seem to be selling them actually at the uni and the surrounding shops and bars nowadays instead(which means you can't choose where you sit <_<).

Yeah, I think you fall in to the U22's category if you're a full time student.. I'm so tempted by this... Yes, it'll cost me season ticket + train ticket from London every match, but 330 quid is a pretty good price.... Argh!
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Ive gotta go from U22's @ £270 to Adult @ £410 Jog On!! Good job im a full time student now
Ford Super Sunday Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 I predicted right! A jump from £207 to £230, I know it's only be about £20!
lildave3 Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Tenner a game. Not too shabby. So the earlybird lasts until March 31st? Is that right?
Craig Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 To be fair, i was expecting a lot worse than this. Not bad.
Houdini Logic Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 New privileges that have also been added for next season include Seat Exchange and a free Foxes Card. Isn't that the Leicester branded credit debt card? If that's mandatory I'm going to support Forest
Fox in a Box Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Look at it two ways you will or you wont get one. I think its fair to be up front and well in advance, if you cant afford it now you pay a little extra... I think that knowing your price before the summer helps if you go on holiday etc. Fair play.
Craig Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Isn't that the Leicester branded credit debt card?If that's mandatory I'm going to support Forest Nah, i think it's where you can top up the card.. and can use it pretty much anywhere? Similar to a debit card, so pretty pointless.
Thracian Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Can't really complain about that. It sounds competitive and well thought out. Pity we can'tcome up with a exciting football package to make it really attractive.
lou Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Quite pleased with that and no increase for my Daughters ticket at all! Doesnt mention the monthly payment thingy, assuming we can still do that? Usually pay mine over 6 months. Will be paid off by Aug/Sept! A lot better than I expected. Thinking of moving seats a bit further back this season will have to have a chat with them about that though, dont wanna lose my early bird price.
Guest Bilo Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Blimey, not too bad at all. Genuinely good offers and the benefits really are 'exciting' this time. Well priced too. I wonder if they've looked at Derby and realised if we're treated better, the attendances will improve as a result. Even if the football isn't great. 14,000 ST holders isn't too shabby at the moment but I daresay that'll increase if the club don't take the piss with prices after the Early Bird deadline.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 I'm contemplating getting a season ticket for next season since I will actually be hoping to spend 5 months in Leicester with u fine folk
lou Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 I'm contemplating getting a season ticket for next season since I will actually be hoping to spend 5 months in Leicester with u fine folk Can I spend 5 months at yours while youre here then? Might be better with a half season one if its after Xmas?
Legend_in_blue Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 "You have to accept that you need to invest in a strong playing squad to succeed."We are lucky to have a chairman in Milan Mandaric who has been generous when it comes to improving our club by buying quality players." That's debatable. Anyhow, can't really complain about a £25 increase. So be it. One thing is for sure I am never going with their direct debit scheme again since 2 years ago they took an extra month out of me by mistake!
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Can I spend 5 months at yours while youre here then? Might be better with a half season one if its after Xmas? I got no issues with that my parents have mine and my brothers mates stay over all the time so shouldn't be an issue Na start of October til end of Feb may catch a game in August but only got a few days in between tours. May also come back in mid March after I go to the wedding I'm required to attened.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 They've dropped the 'exciting monthly benefits' then?
