dandannieldanok Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Please please please get him, would be an unbelievable improvement on our current full-backs.
Podge Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 I think i might do a sex wee if we get Naughton, would be a massive upgrade at the back for us. Here's hoping.
Salieri Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Would be delighted to get him on board. Sadly he'd probably choose Middlesboro (or West Brom) over us. <_<
foxoffderby Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Thats more like it, quality fullback with pace and likes to attack. Having said that theres no chance he will come here if 'boro and WBA are after him
David Guiza Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 Would love it to happen but it's not going to.
MPH Posted 30 January 2010 Posted 30 January 2010 don't think we need a full back, we need a CM you are having a laugh, surely?
Jimmy Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 you are having a laugh, surely? no, if its a choice between the 2 we have plenty of cover at full back but only 3, that's THREE central midfielders total, that Pearson has any intention of using
CupidStunt Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 no, if its a choice between the 2 we have plenty of cover at full back but only 3, that's THREE central midfielders total, that Pearson has any intention of using Cover? pmsl A 40 year old player coach? yr avin a giraffe, we aint got any decent full back's, only berner
Jimmy Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Cover? pmslA 40 year old player coach? yr avin a giraffe, we aint got any decent full back's, only berner we have 2 or 3 options at both right back and left back, Morrison is playing very well at right back and defensively, when not left completely exposed Neilson is more then good enough too.
Vlad The Impaler Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 Would love to have him here. Can't see it myself though..

Fair enough, thats your take on it, but imo the fullback position is one of our weakest Only BB springs to mind, and i guess who you said as a temp measure, Morrison what are our 3 options at left back? and the 3 options at right back?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 brill if its true - but lets face it, it wont be!!!
MPH Posted 31 January 2010 Posted 31 January 2010 no, if its a choice between the 2 we have plenty of cover at full back but only 3, that's THREE central midfielders total, that Pearson has any intention of using plenty of cover and quality are completly different things...
foxoffderby Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Sky sports breaking news.... hes going to 'boro
Joe. Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Gutted really, he would have been a fantastic signing. Exactly what we need right now as well. Surely we're more attractive than 'Boro? Disappointing.
Guest Bilo Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 Gutted really, he would have been a fantastic signing. Exactly what we need right now as well.Surely we're more attractive than 'Boro? Disappointing. Parachute payments = Higher wages. Even if Boro have less chance of winning promotion than Richard Littlejohn becoming leader of the Lib Dems, they'll pay more than we will for that reason. Not sure I want a mercenary here if that is indeed the case.

His contract can't be too lucrative given his age and the fact he barely plays at Spurs...
Guest Mee-9 Posted 1 February 2010 Posted 1 February 2010 12.58 Middlesbrough have tied up the loan signing of Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kyle Naughton on a deal until the end of the season.
