Oh dear... looking at waccoe the last few weeks their love affair seems to be fraying somewhat. Poor performances and fighting with his own players on the pitch has got a few of them thinking twice!!

Yeah, looked on WACCOE to check his progress and there were a few comments saying he was a prima-donna and would be best as a super-sub rather than starting.

Read another Leeds forum saying he kissed the badge when he scored in the shoot-out against Carlisle

EDIT:

Had a fairly interesting game against Carlisle. Terrible first half and a much improved second.

After his penalty he grabbed the Leeds badge and kissed it. Now we've all seen it done and normally it's by vets at the team or top quality players wanting to quash rumours of a transfer. Having said that, did anyone find Gradel's badge kiss a little bit pre-mature? I'd like to think it's his way of saying he's happy to be here and is committed to doing well but i dunno, i just found it a little bit soon.

a) You can only sell players if people bid for them.

b) You're the one constantly banging on about what people are doing wrong and how it should be done.

a) Or if you put a sensible price on them - one that someone is prepared to pay. I sell things every day. If there are no takers then you have two choices if you want a return. Make the item's price more attractive or make the item more attractive.

b) And why not? Exchanging opinion is what this site exists for.

He's another one who thinks he's alot better than he actually is, when all he is is a couple of tricks bags of pace and reasonable shot by League Two/Conference standards, May do alright in the Championship if he develops and changes he's stinking attitude which alot of lads coming through our youth team seem to aquire.

How much do you really know about his attitude? Or the attitudes of anyone else who has come or is coming through our youth team? Have you ever spoken to any of them?

I've seen no-one on our right wing these last five years who's better than Gradel - even accepting the youngster is still learning his trade as a first teamer - and certainly the sight of Morrison, Gallagher and Oakley out there doesn't inspire.

At least Leeds seem to offer the sort of attacking philosophy that offers hope for his development. Instead of Pearson's approach of first employing defensive "minders" in attacking positions to make sure our limited and so-pedestrian defence gets lots of cover.

Is it me or does the dourist lobby on here get stronger?

I saw his penalty for Leeds in the shoot-out the other night, their fifth and final one before sudden death - Pressure.

He spanked it onto a postage stamp in the corner of the Carlisle goal in front of 1,000+ baying Cumbrians before turning away with the nonchalance of someone who's farted just before getting out of a lift.

He has nads of concrete and a hint of mad genius about the way he plays the game at times. Good luck to him.

Yeah you never mention Leeds do you.

As I said before if you compare the two teams scoring rates in that division we are/were almost identical.... or at least we were a week or so ago when I mentioned it.

Do you know what our value was? It's not a bloody market stall, the players aren't running around with prices on their backs. You don't know anyone was even interested.

I'm surprised there's people on here that give a flying fook about him. He's gone, he ain't comming back!!

Bit like Sheehan, but someone drags his name up every week.

Stockport away last season. Booked yellow card, arguing with Oakley too.

Peterborough away last season. Arguing with Gilbert/Dickov.

He's not an angel.

It's exactly the same principle as a market stall. The "owner" will have their idea of a player's value based on various factors at the time.

And when they make it known that player, is or might be available for sale they will soon be able to judge the reaction based on their valuation.

According to that reaction they will adjust their price accordingly - either quickly or over time. And while players might not have their current "valuation" on their backs a club will still have access to various criteria on which to base a realistic figure.
