StanSP Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Seriously considering getting tickets to this after hearing how good it is down at Selhurst Park. No idea how to get there though . Will there be many tickets left by the time general sale comes round?
Guest Bilo Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Leicester - St. Pancras St. Pancras - Victoria (Tube action) Victoria - Thornton Heath Last train back at 23.07. Spectacular. £17.80 with a railcard, job done. And the ticket is effectively free thanks to my introducing a friend as a new ST holder. Amazing away night beckons.
Tommeh Posted 1 March 2010 Posted 1 March 2010 Will see what I can do Thomas, will see what I can do. What times you thinking? You owe me, big time. I know yes, I'll ring you tomorrow just seen a few potential problems fly by my head. But I'll think round them.

Is that Thornton Heath or Selhurst? Not sure which would be better in terms of pubs and stuff.

Oh yeah mean to central London I was referring to last one back to Leics, you getting the 00:15 then? Think I'll bother with underground/DLR trains when I get there.

I would imagine that'll be the one. By the time it gets from Thornton Heath to St. Pancras, it'll be getting on for that kind of time. I always buy my underground tickets at the same time as my train tickets, it just saves arsing about when you're in the big smoke.

lildave3 Posted 2 March 2010 Posted 2 March 2010 How? They're ridiculously cheap. Didn't think the Great Central Railway went to London.... Well one's in Brighton and the other is somewhere else down south. Sorted my train tickets for this earlier. Just need to go in and get a ticket now.
z-layrex Posted 2 March 2010 Posted 2 March 2010 How? They're ridiculously cheap. Didn't think the Great Central Railway went to London.... I live right by Gatwick airport mate in a Palace supporters town so it's only 1 change on the train. Going up drinking with all my palace supporting friends before so we better win.
