I did hear some sherwood tossers managed to get through some form of barrier which seperates the home/away fans... Dont know whether this is true or not...

Some Forest fans were sat in N block and obviously got found out

Then some women and kids kicked shit out of them

Then 10,000 police went in and dragged the Forest fans out

From where I was sat in J3, it looked like there was a fight which was probably due to some Forest fans stupid enough to sit in the home end. After that, the stewards piled in and went to take out the guy who was at the centre of it.

Whilst walking him down the steps, the stewards seemed to trip over another guy because they weren't looking where they were going and took him out too for no apparent reason. Not that I'm suggesting our stewards would ever do such a thing...

Couple of posts on Bentleys seem to suggest that Ex City player Sam Mcmahon was involved in the punch up? at least I think I read it correctly, still suffering from last nights drinking.

Now that's a name I hadn't heard for a while.

Apparently he now plays for Stamford AFC in the Unibond Division One South. Things obviously didn't work out for him after leaving us.

I'm surprised this was the only incident. There were shit loads of Forest fans covertly sitting inside the home section.

They obviously kept their mouths shut

dred to think what would have happened if a forest fan found there way in L1 with how charged it was in there

If they were covertly sitting in the home ends, you wouldn't have known that they were there.

Read this as 'scrap the family stand'.

well, if they can't behave themselves!

they shouldn't be setting a bad example for the kop

Played against Sam about 20 years ago, playing for our respective school teams. Good little player quick and very skillful. I remember him trying to dribble past our entire backline once.

To true, I met someone I know at half time in the Kop concourse, he is a Forest fan, his kids ( 24, 26 yr old's) were in the away section. He was unable to get a ticket for that area so came into the home section.

He told me it was very difficult sitting there and not showing any indication who he supported.

Wonder what he did when we scored. lol

I told him he'd better keep his head down and not let on who he supported, otherwise he could find himself in serious trouble with some of our fans.

Shame I didn't see him after the match, it would have been nice to gloat. :yahoo:
