Legend_in_blue Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 We are so, so organised. Absolutely solid. We're bang on for the play-offs now. We will do this. Very confident of pulling it off now. Win the home games and we're there imo.
Ultra Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Another quality performance - that's 3 on the bounce at the Way.. Now let's take this form on the road - there are some tough away trips in the weeks ahead and any lapses are likely to be punished.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 An extremely good result, and solid performance. This was a massive win. Let's keep our feet on the ground, and keep up the good work.
Corky Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Was a really enjoyable match yesterday, two good sides playing an entertaining contest that we won well. Three vital points, second straight home win against a play-off rival and another clean sheet. Everyone played well and contributed, even Bruce who looked solid until his injury. Vaughan showed some promise when he came on, and Hobbs was a colossus at the back. I think Rafa may live to regret his decision to sell him to us in the future. Seven point gap now to seventh, still keeping touch with Swansea, we're in a great position. Well done Nigel and the team for making this season interesting and enjoyable.
Sods Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Quality, take that performance every week. Dyer was class, how can anyone slate this guy, runs and runs and runs. I feared Bothyrood yesterday after the fa cup game, but Hobbs had him in is back pocket. Bruce looked like my type of player as well that likes a smash! And you can just tell Vaughan will cause problems. Blue Army.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Hobbs arguably had his best game of the season, Wellens had his best game for a long, long time and Dyer managed not to fade out of the game for once. Great game, the result is the most important.
Salieri Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 Just got back to Cornwall, had a fantastic weekend! Really enjoyed the game, superb result. Hobbs was magnificent, Wellens very impressive, Dyer never stpped running, and Waggy took his goal well. Cardiff huffed and puffed and never really created much. They spent a lot of time moaning, especially that Burke tosser. Loved Waggy when the ball was smashed into his face, he gets straight up and gets on with it, top lad. I really believe we will make the Play Offs now. It would take a disasterous run of form to blow it, and Nige will not let that happen. Every time we have a dodgy result we bounce back. The team is so well organised and hard to beat, we should fear nobody. Bring on Palace!
Aeropars Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 One of the few games i missed this season however from what the BBC commentator on the red button was saying it was a pretty drab game. Delighted with the win though and am dreaming of a wembley visit. During the last playoff era I was too young to afford to go on my own so had to settle for the TV. Im praying that we make it just to live a dream. Even if we lost in the final i'd be extreamly proud of what we have acheived.
Guest Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 One of the few games i missed this season however from what the BBC commentator on the red button was saying it was a pretty drab game. Shows why you shouldn't base an opinion upon what you hear from a pundit.
Corky Posted 14 March 2010 Posted 14 March 2010 One of the few games i missed this season however from what the BBC commentator on the red button was saying it was a pretty drab game. That's surprising. Even though it wasn't end-to-end there was some decent football played and both sides looked to create chances.
Scow Posted 15 March 2010 Posted 15 March 2010 Dave Jones says his side 'controlled' most the game - how can you control most of a game when you're down 1-0 down for the best part of sixty minutes? He then goes on a massive rant about refs. Then one of his players, Darcy Blake, claims they 'did enough to win the game.' Be gracious and accept defeat - we were the better side.
maddog Posted 15 March 2010 Posted 15 March 2010 Just seen the Weale save a few times which was a save. And what a save.
Guest Posted 16 March 2010 Posted 16 March 2010 Just seen the Weale save a few times which was a save. And what a save. Absolutely. Bet it won't change Fox92's opinion of him though
