MC Prussian Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 What a great result, distanced ourselves from the immediate competitors. Hobbs MOTM, surely. Waghorn's goal a golden one. Vaughan also seemed to threaten a fair bit. All in all, things look bright and I'm really looking forward to a good league finish - playoff material??? Keep it up lads, beat the Palace and we're surely on track to Wembley..!!!
Joe. Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 SUperb result. Seven point cushion over Blackpool with a game in hand.
FoxyPV Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Great win Im starting to believe Champions league in two seasons!!!
Koke Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 It's a vital win and it is a great response from the lads after the Wednesday defeat.
lavrentis Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Great win. Unreal to think we'll be in this position this time last year
filbertway Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Quality result! I'm really starting to beleive we can make the play offs now , quite unbeleiveable considering our state two years ago.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 OH! What's occurrin'? I'm not gonna lie to you... I thought they was shit. Seriously though, GREAT win for us and other results went our way too! EDIT: Forgot to mention I could barely take those last few minutes... don't know what I'll be like if we did make it to the play-off final!!!
shen Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 What a huge HUGE result! Seven points ahead of Blackpool with a game in hand, I wouldn't have envisaged it at the start of the season or even in January!
EmLeee Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Brilliant stuff! Time to start saving for the play offs ... just incase
AlphaMaleFox Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Brilliant performance! What a passing football Â
Guest Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Brilliant performance. We played some really nice passing football today. Tough choice betweeen Hobbs and Wellens for MOTM, gonna have to go with Hobbs. Nowt was gettin past him today!
CKB Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Great stuff! i said lets see what next week brings and it brung a win.. I still predict some doom and gloom merchants to appear tho, probs to moan about well anything really!
Sylvie85 Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Massive result if / when we make the playoffs think this could be the week we look back at. Excellent performance. Boom!
haraven Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Without jinxing it, I think we are now starting to have our feet firmly planted in a play off spot - it would have to be a major melt down if we are to fall below the top 6. Sounded like a tremendous performance today. Up the Foxes!
Guest Bilo Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 I can honestly say I'm daring to dream now. We proved in the first half we can outplay teams and we proved in the second we can grind out results and frustrate teams when they throw everything at us. We looked solid and well organised, reducing one of the Championship's best attacking teams to speculative efforts. Booking train ticket to Wembley Park on May 22nd as we speak.

Definitely, stunning performance, and Wellens was the best I've seen him today. Shame about Vaughan though, don't think anyone has mentioned it on here or on radio, but he looked like he tweaked his hamstring 5-10 minutes after coming on.
James. Posted 13 March 2010 Posted 13 March 2010 Bothroyd will need counselling after that. Hobbs was absolutley collosall, virtuoso performance. Saw earlier that Cardiff had scored 31 goals away from home this season but they come to the Walkers and don't get a sniff. Hobbs needs a song.
