30th August 2006 - Georginio signs from Inter Milan on a free, he is certainly a youngster with bags of potential and we are very lucky to have him.

11th September 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 2-0 Southampton

A good victory to get us back to winning ways. Pezzarossi and Mendoza got our goals in a competent performance at the Walkers Stadium. I made a few adjustments to our back 3 for this game, I had them defend higher up the pitch and zonal mark.

16th September 2006 - Premiership

Chelsea 1-1 Leicester City

We led Chelsea for 83 mintues of this game after a early Mendoza goal and we were by far the better side throughout, inevitabley though Chelsea scored a late goal leaving us with just a point. A lot of confidence can be drawn from this though.

19th September 2006 - Carling Cup 2nd Round

Cambridge United 0-3 Leicester City

An easy victory for us even with a lot of our first teamers rested. Connolly, Zamora and Veron got the goals.

23rd September 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 2-0 Man City

Not the greatest team performance but we were clinical infront of goal with Mendoza and Veron getting on the scoresheets. Veron was world class in this game, showing just what he could do playing in the attacking midfielder role.

30th September 2006 - Premiership

West Bromwhich Albion 0-4 Leicester City

We saw off the newly promoted West Brom with four first half goals, a brace each for Mendoza and Veron. We looked a class act and it's certainly an excellent recent run we have put together, we are 5th in the table.

I do love how you can sign players for free and they instantly become worth 4.7 Million :D

4th October 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 0-3 Liverpool

We didn't play badly but Liverpool were very strong going forward and wecouldn't cope.

14th October 2006 - Premiership

Arsenal 3-4 Leicester City

Last season we beat them at Highbury, this season we beat them at the Emirates Stadium! We trailed by 2-0 after 25 minutes but we battled back with goals from Mendoza and Fernandes to put us level at half time. Mendoza then put us ahead shortly after the break, this was then followed by 4th after Veron hammered the ball in after 60 minutes. Arsenal got a goal back in stoppage time but it wasn't enough to deny us a great victory.

21st October 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 2-1 Bolton Wanderers

We lead this game by 2 goals to nil after just 15 mins after Pezzarossi and Mendoza scored and this proved enough for the victory despite a second half goal from Bolton. We are 5th in the league but still a good distance away from the top 4.

25th October 2006 - Carling Cup 3rd Round

Hartlepool United 0-2 Leicester City

A comfortable victory for a weakened City side with goals coming from Jordan Stewart and David Connolly, we will play Man Utd at Old Trafford in the next round.

30th October 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 3-0 Portsmouth

Great team display to easily see off Pompey. Mendoza, Pezzarossi and Fernandes got our goals in yet another league victory for us, things are looking good at the moment.

4th October 2006 - Premiership

Norwich City 2-2 Leicester City

We really should of won this after being 2-0 up with goals from Veron and Zamore but we lost concentration and let Norwich back into the game in the second half. Two points dropped.

8th October 2006 - Carling Cup 4th Round

Manchester United 4-1 Leicester City

To be honest we got hammered at Old Trafford, Man Utd led 4-0 at half time and it was game over from there despite a second half goal from Pezarossi. Our defence looked very very dodgy and that is a worry.

18th November 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 1-1 Middlesbrough

An even game but it took us until the 83rd minute to get onto the scoresheet to equalize, Juan Sebastion Veron with the goal.

26th November 2006 - Premiership

Fulham 1-3 Leicester City

We fought back from being 1-0 at half time to eventually win the game with ease. Mendoza got a brace and Zamora got the other.

2nd December 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 3-1 Manchested United

Easy! :D A superb performance from us saw us defeat the mighty Man Utd, just like the Arsenal victory this season we fully deserved to win. Mendoza, Veron and Williams grabbed our goals to secure a win which convinces yet more people that we are a team to be reckoned with this season.

10th December 2006 - Premiership

Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-5 Leicester City

Both sides treated the SKY cameras to feast of goals and a game which will go down as one of the greatest Premiership games ever. Mendoza gave us the lead after 10 mins but that was cancelled out by Wolves after 21 mins, they then took the lead 7 mins later. Goals from Zamora and Mendoza turned things round once more however to give us 3-2 half time lead. 10 minutes into the 2nd half Zidan scored for Wolves to pull things level once more, however that man Mendoza then scored another beautiful goal on 65 mins to put us 4-3 up. Richie Partridge then equalized again after 73 minutes but we had the last say with Dwight Pezzarossis 80th minute goal sealing the victory in an amazing game.

12th December 2006 - Fulham offer me their vacant managers job, Al Fayed p

romised bucket loads of money for players but I decided to stay with my beloved Leicester ;)

16th December 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 1-1 Everton

An extremely dull game that was always going to end in a draw, Veron scores our goal with a good finish after he burst into the box.

20th December 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur

Not sure how we didn't win this one, we totally dominted and outplayed Spurs but despite that and having 17 shots on goal we couldn't do enough to win. Mendoza got our goal.

23rd December 2006 - Premiership

Newcastle United 2-4 Leicester City

Strange game. With just over 20 minutes left to play we trailed 2-1 and looked dead abd buried with Newcastle controlling, Mendoza with our goal. Then game a remarkable 5 minutes Jose Manuel Mendoza stunned the Toon Amry by scoring a quick-fire hat-trick to give us 4-2 victory anmd to take his goals tally to 21 goals in 21 games. What a player.

26th December 2006 - Premiership

Leicester City 0-0 Blackburn Rovers

Another home game against beatable opponents ends in a draw, we certainly should of won this one aswell but we just couldn't finish off our chances.

30th December 2006 - Premiership

Crystal Palace 1-3 Leicester City

We ended 2006 on a high by beating Palace. Pezzarossi, Mendoza and Zamora got our goals in a confident performance from is.

1st January 2007 - Premiership

Leicester City 1-1 Birmingham City

Another good oppurtunity to gain 3 points at home goes to waste, this time we only got a point due to a moment of Mendoza magic in stoppage time. We are 5th in the league.

Seems like you're having a bit of trouble breaking down teams at home :(

6th January 2007 - FA Cup 3rd Round

Leicester City 3-1 Stoke City

Goals from Connolly, Veron and Pezzarossi paved our way into the 4th round in an assured performance at the Walkers Stadium. We play Derby in the next round.

13th January 2007 - Premiership

Southampton 1-1 Leicester City

We are unbeaten since early October however todays result adds to high number of draws during that time. We failed to take control of the game and despite Fernandes's second half equalizer we couldn't get our noses infront.

14th January 2007 - Joseph Yobo agrees a pre-contract deal with us to join in the summer.

20th January 2007 - FA Cup 4th Round

Leicester City 2-0 Derby County

We proved we are the still the kings of the East Midlands by moving aside Derby at the Walkers. A David Connolly brace secured is a place in Round 5 where we will face Watford at home.

21st January 2007 - Gareth Williams turns down our offer of a new contract and decides to join Man City in the summer. Massive loss for us.

29th January 2007 - I reject bids of around £8m from Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea for Mendoza. I signal in the press that he isn't going anywhere.

3rd February 2007 - Premiership

West Bromwich Albion 0-4 Leicester City

Goals from De Vries, Veron, Barker and Hughes completed a thrashing at the Hawthorns to see off 6th placed West Brom. We proved that without Mendoza, who is away with Guatemala, we can still perform and beat good sides.

11th February 2007 - Premiership

Liverpool 1-2 Leicester City

Another big name was added to our defeated list as we beat 10 man Liverpool at Anfield. We led 1-0 at half time through a Pezzarossi goal but Liverpool came fighting back in the second half, however a last minute goal the City legend that is Jose Manuel Mendoza gave us another three points.

De Vries is pants now, can't even score in the ressies.

Shittu has been unhappy since the summer because I declared interest in another defender (Boumsong I think) just after he signed for the club, I only had him Hreidarsson at that point though  He is still playing very well however.
