Dylan Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Not sure if there's another thread on him, but the stats prove he is vital for City. I've been looking at the results of matches and i've found out THIS SEASON: WITHOUT Bruno Berner taking part: 8 points from 9 games= 0.89 pts per game. WITH Bruno Berner taking part: 53 points from 30 games= 1.77 pts per game. The stats dont lie! Hopefully once he comes back he has no more injuries. If we have him back soon we'll secure the playoffs.
Spiritwalker Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 This is a point I've just made on another thread. Does anyone know when he' ll be back?
ousefox Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Wow that isn't a bad stat to have at all. We need him back ASAP.
Dylan Posted 27 March 2010 Author Posted 27 March 2010 Anyone have any news on whether he'll be fit for Tuesday?
Corky Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Please come back soon Bruno. Even though I felt Powell did a decent enough job today, I just like Bruno in the side.
unreachable Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Anyone have any news on whether he'll be fit for Tuesday? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leicester_city/8591036.stm According to Craig Shakespeare on BBC Sport website "he's about a week away" to recovering from his calf strain. Hopefully, then, in time for QPR at home.
Donut Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 According to your stats The team is TWICE as successful in taking points, purely down to one man
Joe. Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 We're all Berner fans on here I know, but I still think his importance is understated. It's just a shame we recognised how important he is when he's gone rather than when he's on the pitch. Bit of a stats thread coming up because I'm bored, but it makes for interesting reading I think. League matches with Berner: 30 W: 14 D: 11 L: 5 Win ratio: 47% Defeat ratio: 17% ------------------------------------------------------ League matches without Berner: 9 W: 3 D: 2 L: 4 Win ratio: 33% Defeat ratio: 45% There you have it, we lose almost half our games without him. In our dry spells from Sheffield United (H) to Barnsley (A) and from Coventry (H) to Derby (A) we've not had Berner and we've suffered. It may be coincidental but I think the correlation speaks for itself personally. Come back soon Bruno. And yes, I have sod all to do tonight.
Guest ttfn Posted 27 March 2010 Posted 27 March 2010 Bear in mind one of the defeats with Bruno was with him in centre mid. Can't be too many better left backs in the league.
Webbo Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 The Birch said on the moan in that Bruno might be available at the weekend, not before.
Fox You Forest Posted 29 March 2010 Posted 29 March 2010 whens the last time we lost when he played? Sheff Wed, before that it was all the way back to the Forest game away.
Rodders Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Sheff Wed, before that it was all the way back to the Forest game away. On the other hand, when was the last time we won when Berner wasn't in the team? Answer: Sheffield United away on Boxing Day! Since then he's missed 7 matches, 5 of which we've lost. Let's hope he's back soon.

Mee Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Any news about him being fit for W.B.A? Lloyd Dyer, Wayne Brown, Bruno Berner and Ryan McGivern were all absent through either illness or injury but are all battling to be fit for the Good Friday clash Looks like he may be fit, hopefully he is, their is something about him what just makes me feel safe when he is playing
unreachable Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 A half fit Berner > anything else we have. You may be right but I can't see Pearson playing Berner and risking him being out for further matches which on paper are more winnable than the WBA match. We'll win at WBA anyway.

Corky Posted 1 April 2010 Posted 1 April 2010 Would love Bruno to be back but don't want him rushed, causing more damage for the future.
flanimal Posted 8 April 2010 Posted 8 April 2010 I never realised how tall he was.Link Must be true, I took this picture when Bruno was walking round Morrisons.
