Matt Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Fucking pathetic. What the fuck is going on? Put it down to not being realistic, heightened expectations, the run off losses and poor form I don't know but i'm going back to being frustrated and wound up watching Leicester, 2 or 3 players going for the same ball, then 2 players clear to run onto a ball and they both leave it, the defence being in no mans land, for alot of the half I think we've had 1 or 2 players left in defence while the other track back half a minute later. Perhaps i'm being harsh, i'll but it down to frustration. P.S - Despite being upset, angry, frustrated, e.t.c, Whether we finish the season (somehow) 6th or outside the playoffs we've had a great season, we've shocked ourselves and it says alot that we are this angry to be falling at the final hurdle, who honestly expected and thought we'd finish in the playoffs? Sorry for the pessimistic post already ruling us out of the playoffs with 5 games to go, but at this current moment in time I can only see it going one way. P.P.S - I wanna join in following the "We won't lose 4 in a row" gang....We won't lose 5 in a row
JoeyB Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 3-0 loss, not the best score, and our poor record where we have not taken a point from the current top 6 away this season continues! Thought we had the better of play at times, just the same old problem, the fact we can't score! Our first shot on target was in the 81st minute, shows how much we need to start taking chances and scoring. Anyway time to move on and look forward to QPR on Monday now! Come on Leicester!

flanimal Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Blackpool won, we lost. One point in it, and our goal difference is weaker than Blackpool. Drippy bumhole time.
samuel Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Yes let's look forward to some more dogshite football! Absolutely nothing in the final third!. The person responsible for that is NP. To be fair WBA are where they are on Merit but come on, show a little flair. Steve Howard moaning at everyone and everything, is not the way to gain a place in the Premiership.
coale39 Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Outclassed and it looks like our confidence has gone. West brom were excellent though.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 We need to get our mojo back. Who would have thought a 2-0 half time lead could be so disastrous. The next 3 games are crucial - we need to take 6-9 points. Believe!!!!
LoughboroughFox Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 nothing short of what i expected, punching way above what our position suggests.
CupidStunt Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Didnt think the 3-0 score reflected the game, they took there chances thought we played half decent at times, then gave away to many stray balls when they looked like easy passes First goal offside? thought it came of Ishmael's back , second looked a bit iffy also as the ball was crossed in It was too easy for wba imo, didnt even have to move up a gear and they score 3 goals, game could have been so different in the first 10 minutes if we took our chances, same goes for the first 10 in the second half 3 points against qpr is what we need.
samjohnson Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 All is not lost... If we get another shit ref... then yes... we are fooked... but... BELIVE!! WE CAN MAKE IT! (First time being positive... hope it pays off :l )
Leicfox Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Its still in OUR hands which is still the main thing, weather our hands suddenly get a spout of arthritis and drop off remains to be seen. We'll have a better idea after mondays game with QPR.
The Doctor Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 well we may have lost but, despite what the sky commentators seem to think, they didn't outclass us. Overall an even game, just didn't take our chances and they did. Still the next 3 games are against teams really struggling at the bottom, we should get a couple of wins from that and everything will look so much brighter.
Dylan Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 QPR is MASSIVE. We must take ALL 3 points. 4 games ago we were like 10 points clear of 7th and now we've fooked it up. 1 point from 5 games is not good enough, no matter what level you play at or where in the table we are. We need to turn this around with a win against QPR to give us some breathing space between us and 7th place.
JimmyJam Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Although Pearson is the best manager we have had for some years, his tactics sometimes bother me. Why stop playing 4-3-3 when it has clearly worked for us when 4-4-2 wasn't working. And some of his team selections to. The players seem to have no real hunger for the ball, no closing down, terrible marking and so much passing wasted all around the park. Certain players just don't deserve to play. Starting with Neilson, he has no footballing brain, no pace, inabitlity to pass a ball anything over 3 or 4 metres, pathetic. Oakley no hunger for the ball, tries to be to fancy with his through balls and general delivery to the strikers when a simple ball through or pass to the wing would be good enough he is seen to often walking around the middle of the park, lazy player why is he captain !!!!! atleist King and Oakley look like they want the ball. And Finally Howard frustrates the hell out of me missed two goal scoring chances today, spends a majority of his time moaning at the ref or linesman and makes all our players play route one football i will admit out the three he shows the most passion but passion doesn't score goals!!!. Get rid of all three. Positives going into the final fixtures Hobbs and Morrison i think have come into there own in recent months showing real quality a real positive in for both the current and fuutre of the LCFC defence. Berner is back not only is he solid but helps organization at the back. In my opinion should be Captain. With the 4-3-3 system we look so much better it allows Gallagher, Dyer, N Guesson, Waghorn to all do what the are best suited to running at players taking people on. Lets hope Pearson goes back to it. And finally is it just me that thinks Vaughn looks useful seen him play twice for city and in both games have been quite impressed. Needs a whole game for me. I havn't lost hope yet but it just doesn't look like some of our players want to win Waghorn somes up for me the attitude and work ethic of a player who wats to get promoted they should all be like that. QPR decides the promotion situation for me.
orangecity23 Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 We've been playing a game every 3 days for the best part of 2 weeks, and it's showing. Too many players look jaded. West Brom are entirely set up to play counter attacking football, once they got 1 goal they could just sponge up the pressure and break again and again. We weren't that shit today, West Brom are on a other level. No shots on target is very dissapointing. I want Fryatt back
Guest Bilo Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Best of luck against Forest in the play-offs Blackpool.
Hitesh Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Thought we didn't play too badly but just poor in the final third which was the difference between the two sides in the end. Don't think we deserved to lose 3-0 in the end to be honest. I think Neilson had a poor game and Howard should have taken his chances, and we lacked the urgency when Dyer came off - I have a feeling we won't be seeing him for a few games and that he was rushed back. Adams didn't do too well either but thats just lack of match practice more than anything. We did hold the ball well and we did have some good moves but that final 3rd play was lacking and even more so when Dyer went off. Oakley has to be dropped and get Spearing in - he just doesn't look as if he has the passion to play - a very half assed approach from what I saw today. I also think the changing of team isn't helping but I guess that's out of NP's hands given the amount of games we're playing! I think we will turn it around on Monday and we need to get behind the team - will be really annoying if the boo boys come along! There are still a lot of points to play for and its still in our hands. We can still do it!!
unreachable Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 The players fought hard throughout - team spirit looks good - we didn't give up. We're in the top six with five games to go and 3 very winnable games to come. I'm looking forward to QPR. Will all you moaning **** be back when we win the next three games?
LoughboroughFox Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Best of luck against Forest in the play-offs Blackpool. go away ****!
Hitesh Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 I don't get why there is so much negativity. We are punching above our weight considering where we were this time last year - in League 1 just in case some of you forgot. We have also been buried in the middle of the play-offs amongst teams who have been established there for the past few seasons. To say this is pathetic is just plain idiot from some people. Its not great when we lose but put it into perspective - we are still in the play-offs and still in contention. I know the results havent been great but we need to get behind the lads and see this our till the end!
Lisburn Fox Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 Its still in OUR hands which is still the main thing, weather our hands suddenly get a spout of arthritis and drop off remains to be seen. We'll have a better idea after mondays game with QPR. We Need This LCFC 2 QPR 0 PBoro 0 LCFC 3 LCFC 2 W'ford 1 Preston 0 LCFC 0 LCFC 2 Boro 1
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 We've got to aim for at least 10 points before the end of the season to see us through. QPR, Posh and Watford are all winnable, and we can get at least a point from Preston or Boro.
LoughboroughFox Posted 2 April 2010 Posted 2 April 2010 We Need This LCFC 2 QPR 0 PBoro 0 LCFC 3 LCFC 2 W'ford 1 Preston 0 LCFC 0 LCFC 2 Boro 1 and tonight's lottery numbers are..................
