Corky Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Normally feel sorry for devastated players but in Chopra's case..........nah I don't think so. Well done to Blackpool. I reckon their season in the Premier League will almost be a carbon copy of Burnley's. Good start in their fixtures, before teams get wise to them and they'll tail off and get relegated. Yep, my feelings too. They'll score a few but will struggle defensively big time.
Fosse Boy Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Blackpool will do worse than Derby did. Mark my words.
C-man Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 The PL will like him at the beginning but will eventually think he's a tedious as fuck, gradually starting to dislike his shitty analogies. Phil Brown was also an interesting character to the PL fans when Hull went up, but now everyone thinks he's a cunt. Agreed on Phil Brown but Holloway has clearly turned down the one-liners this season and appears to be a lot more serious. I'm happy for him, he looks unbelievably proud of what he and his players have achieved. If the PL want him to play silly twats then they might have to wait till he's a pundit.
maddog Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 The PL looks a lot stronger this season without Hull, Burnley and Pompey. I rekon West Brom and Newcastle will both be safe, then theres Wigan, Bolton, Wolves, Birmingham, Blackburn, Sunderland battling it out. West Ham will spend big, Blackpool are by far the weakest team.
samjohnson Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Certainly looking forward to Ollies pre-match and post match press conferences in the PL. What will he say about Fergie, Wenger, Ancelotti etc It's going to look very strange to see him on the touchline next to them. Its a very long Blackpool cup run, which sees them playing replays against 19 Premier League sides...
MC Prussian Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 AHAHAHAHAHAH. Blackpool in the Premier League... I expect them to be thrashed on a weekly basis - home and away. At least they'll add some colour to the Prem. Well done Holloway - could you now please buy Campbell for sure. A couple of millions should be doable...
surrifox Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 holloway and the premiership deserve each other and the village has a what it really needs -a new idiot
