shen Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 ...but Enyeama is a beast!!! I doubt we'll see a better goalkeeper in this tournament And then he mesed up...
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Oh my...... thats a turn up for the book if ever I saw one.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 That's my prediction gone tits up now, another mistake brings a goal.
martyn Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Greece so lucky. Why the hell isn't Ninis getting a look in? He's miles better than some of the dross on show.
C-man Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Unlike all the others though, I reckon the ball actually had something to do with that error. Still not excusing the technique presented there though.
Tilley Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 After the Switzerland upset, the Uruguay game last night and the two today, I finally feel like I am watching a World Cup!
dandannieldanok Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Shame for Enyeama, he's been one of the better goalkeepers so far.
Koke Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Damn Africans. The African self-destructiveness kicks in again. Always manage to screw things up. Black people are really mentally weak. I'm being serious.
Unit Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Damn Africans. The African self-destructiveness kicks in again. Always manage to screw things up. Black people are really mentally weak. I'm being serious. Well this is awkward.
shen Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Damn Africans. The African self-destructiveness kicks in again. Always manage to screw things up. Black people are really mentally weak. I'm being serious. A man like Lagerbäck was unlikely to ever coach them right. But I don't agree that they've self-destructed in the style we've seen previously from African teams. This performance has just been lackluster and without much passion. Very disappointed as I thought the Super Eagles had it in them. Still, they're not out of it yet. If they beat South Korea and Greece lose to the Argies, I think they'll go through...
The Doctor Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 damn you obasi and your terrible miss - i had 2-2 down for this match, And eneyama may well have hit the self destruct button on a potential big move for himself with that mistake.
Koke Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Well this is awkward. I'm being serious. Pretty much all Africans are well aware of this as well. No mental strength whatsoever. Greece were piss poor prior to the sending off. Nigeria practically gifted them the win and virtually sealed their own elimination from the WC. And this isn't the first time Africans have gone into the usual self-destructive mode that Africans are known for.
Edmund Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Put it on a plate for a poor Greece side. Silly sending off and missing an open goal.
Fosse Fox Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Damn Africans. The African self-destructiveness kicks in again. Always manage to screw things up. Black people are really mentally weak. I'm being serious. People who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...
Mack Posted 18 June 2010 Posted 18 June 2010 Swerving the potential race war erupting on this thread would just like to say that Greece are not as bad as a lot of you are suggesting. Granted before the red card they looked lackluster but I think they have found the catalyst to kick start their World Cup. They were the first two goals they have EVER scored at a World Cup finals, with a little more belief they can make the last 16!
