You mean after the Mirror, the Guardian, Sky Sports et al and Uncle Tom Cobley and all and then the fans

Not surprising really. The stories are getting a bit out of hand, and until something is signed and sealed it could all yet disappear into thin air, if indeed it was there in the first place

Interesting last few words in the statement given we e-mailed the club late last night, following the Guardian/Mirror stories going live on the web, stating that "fans had a right to know who major investors were in their club" & did not want LCFC fans to have a repeat of the situation at Notts County last season

All this mysterious Thai stuff has got me thinking of "Operation Ko Samui" from Meet the Parents.

Anyway, I can understand LCFC holding its cards close to its chest for transfer-related reasons, so that the clubs of transfer targets don't immediately raise their asking prices knowing LCFC can afford to spare a few more pounds. However, I'm sure the other club owners know the inside scoop, so that might not be a good assumption.

Perhaps if I were one of LCFC's creditors, I'd be on the phone with them ASAP if I knew the club were in for a serious cash injection, but maybe I'm clutching at straws.

I find it funny that every time LCFC makes an official statement to clarify anything that's the source of media speculation, we have to try to parse every word in order to figure out what's really going on.

It's all because of this - Mistrust.

MM in denial? Again?!?!

This charade will no longer fool the fans. Surely it can't.

Take a more recent "denial" for example...

'MM denies speaking to Sousa'.

Er, yes, right. Two days later he's manager. One month prior, he's at a play-off semi final at the Walkers.

Today, it's the same old deny this, deny that malarky.

It's not fooling me. lol

Well done.

Good to know that you are doing everything possible. Our future is in safe hands.

The new news stories (49% investors) only broke at 11pm last night, what else would you expect us to be able to do at that time of night?
