The Year Of The Fox Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 Go to Curry's and pretend you're interested in buying one
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 CD player in the house has broken, otherwise don't you think I'd of switched it on? Surely? I'd have thought you'd have got a radio from some where, not hard or expensive to get a small one, even if its that small you need ear phones.
Raw Dykes Posted 29 September 2012 Posted 29 September 2012 You can buy a radio for about £2 from Tesco.
deep blue Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Anyone have a link for a stream for this evening's match? Thanks
marbelladave Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Free Foxes Player You can get 14 days free at the moment, starting from 1st October. So only the two games, but better than nothing...... Go to http://www.lcfc.com/news/club/ and look for the panel on the right.
PitshangerFox Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Does anyone know if there is a way to by pass the automated message on RL listening online? Maybe a website that broadcasts the analogue signal online somehow?
foxile5 Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Does anyone know if there is a way to by pass the automated message on RL listening online? Maybe a website that broadcasts the analogue signal online somehow? This.I live abroad so radio coverage is the only way possible for me to follow the city and they turn it off. I know there is a way to do it as I've listened to the radio illicitally before now, but I've not been able to find a link for ages. Can anyone help? It'd be a massive help. Before anyone suggests paying for Foxes Player I've been on there before. The service was abysmal and the player itself patch as all hell. I don't mind paying for a service, but I expect that service to work. FoxesPlayer did not.

I do not use Foxes Player that often but I rarely have any problems when I do, these days it seems to be pretty reliable. Putting up with Stringer and Youngy is the only real problem I have....... I may try the opposition commentary tonight, see what it is like......
danfox76 Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 http://www.radiofeeds.co.uk/query.asp?feedme=BBC%20Radio%20Leicester may work at kick off but then again might not

Yeah you're right about the commentary team! hahahahaAnd it may well be perfect nowadays, but I apply the same logic to things like this as I would a car. If I rent a car I want it to work as soon as I have it, not sometime in the near/distant future. FoxesPlayer had my custom and, if they'd have provided a halfway decent service, still would. I live abroad and have few plans to move back. They really could've had me by the balls if they could've been bothered to make an effort. It was just so shitty that I refuse to give them my money. Voting with your feet and all that.Hopefully something'll turn up. If not I'll just follow it on the Match Threads on here and TB like I usually do. Just as informative as Stringer but without the knowledge of who is eating what pie and where.

Leicfox Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Why not try the oppositions commentary ? I did against Burnley & Hull and thought it was very good compared to Stringer and Young and at least you get match commentary and not drivel about fcuk all. Unfortunately though against Boro I had to listen to our lot again as Boro have a different kind of player so hoping tonight Udders commentary is available.

When I'm abroad working and there is a match on I usually Skype home via free wifi and my lad put the pc commentary on. Making it free to me abroad. Works well if you know someone in uk who can be there for you. Good luck.

Yeah, me and the old man have done this quite a few times, but it's not always a certainty that he'll be at home or, even if he is, remember. I think he's gone tonight so that's that out anyhow. Better to have all bases covered! hahaha. Cheers

I do not think Foxes Talk is particularly good but it is the only way to follow the game live and to see extended highlights, last season they were consistently better than anything on TV or the web. Try the free trial that is on at the moment, nothing to lose......

absolutelegend Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Stringer stream required. Stuck in the crap hole that is London tonight
bluesbrothers Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Can't get a connection to RL on Foxes Player, but the Huddersfield stream works fine. I know it's still 35 minutes til kick off, but I don't just pay for 90 minutes, I expect the whole program. Taking the near miss here.
